We had our work Christmas Party on Friday 14th December 2018 and from start to finish it was fantastic.
The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas, we had reception drinks of the main bar then onto a separate room for our 3 course meal and entertainment. The food was deli

Stayed just for one night . Our room was upgraded to larger room. Not quite as nice as last time we stayed ( we had a suite with huge bath in the bedroom last time) but very comfortable bed and loved the Occitane body lotion, gorgeous smell. Food in restaurant was good I think we

Stayed for 2 nights 30th November 2018 as part of a wedding party.
Check in was incredibly slow as the hotel could not find the booking for the couple ahead of us. Only one person on the desk checking people in. Rather frustrating after a 6 hour journey.
Once in we went to the ba

I used to live in Wimbledon, so when I had to go back there this was the first placed I looked at staying. No longer an independent hotel, Cannizaro House (apparently no longer called that but I guarantee you that is how it is known and even Google still agrees with me on that on

Hello - I wrote a very positive review relative to our dinner at Cannizaro last night - am not sure why it has only 3 stars as I would rank it much higher. It was excellent service and tbe meal was delicious.
Hi - it certainly seems hit and miss for sure. There was an issue w insufficient and untrained staff but understand they were addressing and trying to improve management structure too. Anyway I hope it improves as I hv a private dining event coming up!

We are booked in with you next Friday and Saturday for the ladies final and was wondering if you run a shuttle service to the all England club during Wimbledon fortnight Tony
Hello, It's not too far to walk to Wimbledon Tennis from here if you are reasonably fit? Just over a mile via Marryat Road and If the weather is nice it's good to see the Common on the way, should take you around 30 minutes, you can then hail a black cab by the Tennis Club to return to the hotel afterwards. Also I noted that Lexus are running a fleet of 4x4 vehicles at the hotel during Wimbledon Tennis, perhaps ask the hotel if they are running them as a shuttle for guests at the hotel to travel to the tennis? Hope this helps and enjoy your visit

Do you have a gym/pool or spa?
Unfortunately no we do not. If you are into running we are located in Cannizaro Park right on the common that has many fabulous running routes.

I'm thinking of using this hotel as a wedding venue in August. Would appreciate recent comments from anyone who has used CN as a venue recently. I had the same thoughts as someone else in regards the 'odd smell'.
My experience is has not been great. The majority staff are not interested. Typically not engaging with the customers, avoiding eye contact. The staff are more interested in flirting with each other. However speak to the manager and express your concerns and see what she says. If they say all there staff are great and look after you then don't use the venue, as they need to accept the problem before it will get better. For a wedding I would insist that the manager is there for the initial meeting, the day before the event and the wedding day itself. I think the venue is in a great location and has a very good chef. The staff are not great when left to their own device. However if the manager is there, who seems to be interested, then it should be good. You have the advantage here of knowing the possible problems.

"Don't have room called Jouneys End. No park view as a very large tree outside window."
"Our room at the back was very quiet, but I think it is generally a quiet location."
"Just don't."
"Don’t eat in the resturant !!"
