6 of my family stayed in a 3 bedroom unit. Could have easily fit 7-8. Unit was very clean and spacious except kitchen was a little tight.
Great location with 5 minute walk to the Earl's Court Underground stop and lots of pubs and restaurants....More
For the comfort for the perks for the convenience I’d pay for it all over again!

This was our second stay at the Mansions, and we were thrilled with the accommodations once again. Not only were the team members involved and concerned with both our comfort and security, they also went out of their way to work with us through all...More
As a group of friends, we wanted a place to chill out for a few days. To chat, to laugh, to catch up, to enjoy some bubbly, good wine & good food. The Mansions was just perfect! This was our second visit, and it won’t...More
We would definitely stay at this location again and recommend it to friends. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the accommodations more than ample and clean. We LOVED the location on Earl’s Court and found it very easily accessible to everything we wanted to...More
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.

if your family is up to it and you don't have too much luggage then the underground is a good choice. The Mansions is a 4 minute walk from Earls Court stop on the tube/underground. Our family flew into Gatwick and we took a coach bus (National Express $5 per person) that stops at the Victoria coach station which is about 2 miles from The Mansions and took taxi/uber to the mansions. Not sure if they National Exoress have service at Heathrow. It just happened that the weekend we flew in there was engineer work on the railways so the express train wasn't available so the coach was our best option.
As far as travel while you're in London, at the Earls Court station get a visitor Oyster Card. We stayed a week and on our last night we went to the self serve machines and got back all our unused money and the $5 deposit. If you're traveling with a teen 12-16yrs (up to 11yrs travel free) one of the attendants can also turn their visitor oyster card into a student card where they pay reduced fairs.
Lastly there are no gym facilities at The Mansions but the amount of walking you'll be doing in London will be enough of a workout ;) Enjoy!
