We normally stay at another hotel in this area when in London, but a colleague of my wife's recommended this hotel. We were orbooked to stay for our anniversary, but this was cancelled due to covid. Therefore, when they said they were reopening, it seemed a good time to visit.

We arrived several hours early to leave our luggage, but or room was ready for us.

The room was one of their superior rooms and this was very good. All the facilities in the room were good, including those we didn't expect to find now, such as tea and coffee making facilities, iron and hairdryer .

The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The air conditioning, whilst noisy was most welcome during the heatwave and did not disturb us.

All the staff we came into contact with were very friendly.

I can recommend the latte's in the bar.

Breakfast was served in our room at no additional cost and it was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had for a long while.

On checking out, we wanted to leave our luggage in storage at the hotel, but with covid they do not touch your luggage, but the solotion was to allow you to leave your lugging your room at no cost even after checking out.

In short, this was overall an excellent hotel and one to which we will return.

I picked this hotel as the location and images looked perfect for our requirements. I had booked it for my Husband’s birthday, a show and stay over. The location was spitting distance from London Bridge Station (& underground too, easy journey to Shaftesbury Avenue: Northern & Bakerloo lines). Hotel very clean and classy. Bed extremely comfortable, amenities in room fabulous (incl The White Company toiletries) and surprisingly quiet (no outside noise) and blinds & curtains kept light out, so quiet & dark we didn’t wake up until 9.30! Hotel bar great and reasonably priced drinks. Breakfast was a buffet style. I would have no hesitation in recommending and will definitely return.

This was a rescheduled visit due to Covid, the hotel kept an option to rebook. We came in from Euston straight into London Bridge station using the Northern line. We received a lovely welcome. We were presented with a little bag (well presented) with sanitiser tissues cotton face covering. The receptionist gave us a breakfast order form in a plastic sleeve and asked us to complete it and leave it on our door handle, collected later in the evening. The rooms are a reasonable size very clean there is a large wardrobe ,iron, board, trouser press, tea and coffee making facilities fridge and safe. Bathroom was modern and they have The White Company toiletries which are wonderful probably our favourites. Just to add the corridors have a lovely fresh fragrant smell. Breakfast was served to our room at the time we asked. Brought on a trolley all covered just fabulous service And the lady who brought the breakfast didn’t just drop and leave she passed the trolley and we took all the food and drink off and gave her the trolley back. She had a very pleasant manner. Finally on leaving we checked out and wasn’t leaving until late afternoon they allowed us to leave our suitcase in the room and they reactivated a room card on our return so we could pick the case up. The 2 receptionists working on Sunday afternoon carried on the great service we received from arriving. Thanks London Bridge we will be back.

Stayed here for 6 nights, on check in we were told there would be no housekeeping for the duration of our stay because of COVID and if we needed the room to be cleaned we would instead need to move to a different room! They know full well that most people would not want to move all their belongings once they have settled in, so we were left with an overflowing bin and the same towels and sheets for our stay, hardly a relaxing hotel stay. We ran out of toilet paper and requested more - we were handed one single roll!
If we had known they were going to use COVID as an excuse to avoid basic housekeeping we would never have stayed here, so be warned, it is ridiculously OTT. We have stayed at other hotels during this time and while housekeeping has been reduced to stays over 2 nights they still maintained clean rooms, I found it ridiculous and would never stay here again.
In addition you needed both hands to press the toilet flush it was so stiff, we complained and nothing was done. There is air conditioning but there was many times when it just couldn’t cope with the summer heat. The windows are so filthy it’s almost impossible to see out and the window frames are crumbling away. Our room was reached by a convoluted route involving stairs and lifts which soon became time consuming and tedious.
We never ate in the restaurant or bar so I cannot comment on them. When leaving nobody asked if our stay had been okay, well it most certainly wasn’t.

Stayed here for one night to catch up with a friend. The hotel is very close to London Bridge station and borough market. It looks like it has been recently refurbished and as such was fresh and clean. The room was spacious for a London hotel with water & tea/ coffee provided, the bed was comfortable and i did not hear any noise from trains or other traffic. Breakfast was lovely- I opted to have the full English and there was a good range of options and nicely cooked. We did have a drink in the bar, which again was spacious and welcoming. All the staff we met were polite and friendly and check in and out was hassle free. The price was good given its location to everything- we walked to the west end but it is only 2 stops on the train to Charring Cross from there for those less mobile. My wife and I visit London quite regularly and stay there several times a year so I would not hesitate to book here again when we are next in the city.

I stayed one night here with my daughter.
The staff were amazing.
We had an executive room which comes with a mini bar (that was locked so couldn’t be used).
The bed was soooo comfy.
We were advised on arrival that if we wanted breakfast then it was room service only and it would be cheaper if we booked and paid in advance (£10 each for full English etc) than if we called room service in the morning (£15.50 each I think). So we paid in advance.
The choice for breakfast was lovely. No scrimping on the selection available. From continental breakfast to cooked, smoked salmon to sausages etc. Amazing value for money.

My daughter had smoked salmon and poached eggs with toast. I had poached eggs, hash browns, beans, toast etc. We also had fruit juice and pastries.

The eggs were cooked perfectly. It was all warm. A really lovely breakfast.

Additionally due to a work commitment that I was having to undertake remotely the staff offered me a 2pm checkout. No extra charge.

I’ll stay here again. It may not have views, but it’s lovely nonetheless. At £153 a night it was well worth it.

We stayed at the LBH for one night and was pleasantly surprised. We booked a standard room and was upgraded to an executive room. The hotel and room was very clean and tidy. The building is lovely too. The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. Our room was small but functional. Everything you needed for a short stay. The bed was super comfy. Tea and coffee facility in room too, with dressing gowns and slippers. Towels were top quality and they supplied White Company shower gel, soap etc. You’re right beside London Bridge station which is great for getting around London. But on the minus side we did experience some train noise but it wasn’t all night and in a funny way hypnotically sent you to sleep. Breakfast was an extra £10, hot cooked served by chef at buffet, or cereals, or fruit. I did see some smoked salmon too. Service and facilities were perfect, we really enjoyed our stay. I would happily stay again if I get the chance and highly recommend.

From the moment we arrived we were delighted with our choice of hotel ... from check-in on Friday, to check-out on Monday, their Receptionist and other staff couldn't be more helpful, and our rooms were spotless and comfortable.
Thank you for all the safety measures while helping us feel welcome - 10/10 for breakfast each day (both in the restaurant and with room service).

Having had a couple of foreign holidays cancelled we decided to have a few days in London. We have never stayed in this area of London before but were not disappointed with our choice of hotel. Check in was very quick and professional. All measures taken because of Covid were fully explained. Breakfast was served in our room at time requested. There was a good selection of well presented food. All requests in respect of housekeeping were dealt with very quickly.
All staff were pleasant and helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
We had a deluxe room which was very large and comfortable, we soon got used to the noise from the railway and had a good sleep every night. Plenty of local eating places within a short distance. Would definitely stay here again

Pre pandemic we always tried to book at least two weekends per year at this wonderful hotel so once lock down was over the first thing we did was book a Weekend break here. Walking in and being greeted by Chris and Nick was just like seeing old friends, the hotel is very covid safe with the option of having breakfast in your room or prebooking a table for the restaurant, we chose the later as this made it feel more luxurious. There was no housekeeping during our stay but was not an issue. We needed more milk cartons so asked at the check in desk and was given replacements. We were given a little pouch that had sanitiser, tissues and little clothes in which is such a thoughtful thing to do. We've figured between myself and husband we have booked this hotel at least 13 times and we are in the process of planning our next stay.

Heathrow would be my suggestion but all four airports around London (London City, Gatwick, Heathrow and Standsted) have connections (of varying type, length and cost) to the centre of London.
