Have stayed here twice in the last few weeks with working in the area. Hotel is comfortable and we'll located as it's very central for the west end London experience. However at the moment most things in the area are closed due to Covid restrictions.

Staff are friendly and accommodating from the minute you arrive.

Rooms are comfortable and a stayed twice on the 7th floor once in a standard room and then an in an upgraded room.

Bathroom are a little small but they do have a bath which is a bonus for London. Aircon unit can be a little noisy but I usually turn them off as I'm a light sleeper.

The higher floors have no noise at all as the area is pretty empty at the moment.

Food is by room service only or you can order in a take away food option to the reception and they will ring you when it arrives. Breakfast is expensive for what you get but it's tasty and arrives in a little cardboard box so hygiene is maintained.

Enjoyed my stay here even in difficult times and look forward to going back when things open.

We had made reservations at the Raddison Edwardian Grafton, which is our go to Hotel in London. We were informed 24 hours before that it was not open and we were transferred to the Raddison Edwardian Mercer St instead. We were most warmly welcomed by staff who knew our situation and check in was a breeze. The room was really well appointed, plenty of plugs and charging points for devices, a really nice room, with everything you would expect of a 4* , it was well cleaned daily ( we thought it probably wouldn’t be due to covid ) The room felt really nice to be in, small details matter, individual sanitisers by your bed each day, really well designed Bathroom, shower, quality linens, towels and the ambience within the hotel was excellent, rarely do you come and go without a positive interaction from staff. Breakfast was really well organised, menus accessible by app from your room and table, a well organised booking system to ensure safe operation. The first day we had breakfast delivered , spot on time, the next two days we went to the restaurant, and the staff were spot on, efficient, welcoming and really attentive . It was safe and nice to be edging back to normality. They certainly have everything in place to mitigate against transmission of COVID. A great variety of healthy breakfast options, and excellently prepared hot options, well presented and with care and quality. It’s not often I would award 5 stars, but there really wasn’t anything I could criticise, rather I wanted to celebrate the service and quality I had during my stay. I couldn’t also not mention the location, it is absolutely lovely, seven dials has a great vibe, lots of individual shops, restaurants, and you are so close to Theatres , sights , history, museums, plenty of easy transport links that you are within easy reach of most of London. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did 👍

We had a mini break in London. Ideal location in Theatreland/Covent Garden. In walking distance of Leicester Square and Chinese Quarter and Soho. Just one tube ride on the Northern line to Euston and a short walk. We booked a premium room on the 6th floor. It had a king sized bed , small bathroom with bath and shower with shower gel and shampoo and conditioner and body lotion provided. Bathrobes and slippers were provided in room with coffee machine, kettle, TV, iron and ironing board provided and a hair dryer. Housekeeping service was provided with excellent service. Breakfast was included but the hotel does not have vegetarian sausages for the veggie cooked breakfast. Food was high quality produce. Cereals are limited. Smoothies are an additional extra but when we wanted to order one at breakfast we were told they were not doing them today so don't understand why advertised. There are 2 lifts that worked well. Could see the Shard and London Eye from window. AC controls were blank and had no indicator and the bulb above the door made the entrance if the room dark. Windows could be opened so left open all the time to keep room fresh and cool. Staff are nice and an umbrella was provided in the room for when it was raining. Would stay here again.

In the last 10 years I have stayed in most of the Radisson hotels in central London but never the Mercer ! Purely as it was always more expensive and the friends and other family members in my company never wanted to push the boat out. This year I got my way and ‘pushed the boat out’ I booked two twin rooms (Friday & Saturday night) for myself and 3 male friends as our wives were sadly left at home.
I booked and paid in full two months before our arrival. In the week running up to our stay, the Radisson contacted me to confirm my booking and room numbers, which I thought was amazing !
On arrival there was no twin rooms available ! Needless to say I was not impressed.
To cut a long story short the Front Manager (Matteo Morino) and Guest Receptionist ( Kostadin ) we’re very professional, polite and customer focused after 45 minutes they had rectified one twin room and upgraded a premium room and added a single bed. The following morning a twin room was ready and waiting along with a thoughtful restaurant/bar credit for 4 persons.
Staff 10/10 Food 10/10 perfect breakfast menu and selection for cooked and continental. Location, for me the best in London ! I recommend for Theatre, Covent Garden, Shopping are all on the doorstep. The twin and premium double rooms I stayed in were tastefully decorated, smaller than expected but in immaculate condition and very comfortable.
I would recommend this hotel for couples, small families/friends.
The best Radisson I have stayed in to date !

Firstly we hadn’t booked this hotel we’d booked the Hampshire and on the day we were told that we’d be staying at the Mercer.
The Mercer was lovely and we were greeted by welcoming check in staff as part of my Expedia vip we had £30.00 for food and beverages and this had been transferred to this booking as well.

In my latest email from radisson on about the change of hotels it stated about an upgrade of room we were given room 304 and was lovely and spacious so don’t know if it was upgraded or not. The only downside was the window didn’t shut properly and there was a lot of outside noise that kept us awake on and off during the night.

Dressing gowns had curry stains on them but you could smell they were clean.

Breakfast was lovely and even though didn’t look a lot it was very filling and staff yet again couldn’t do enough to make sure you were all ok.

Extra check out time was perfect and ready for our next hotel stop.

I’d stay here again as long as I was guaranteed a room that wasn’t facing the street as it’s in a perfect location. We stay in London quite a lot and have never stayed in this area.

Set in a quaint area near Convent Gardens surrounded by traditional pubs, independent shops and boutiques. This is a perfect base for any traveller. On foot we managed to see so many sites including Buckingham Palace, The Mall, Big Ben etc.

The rooms were very spacious and modern with a simple, clean design.
The beds were extremely comfortable - probably one of the best hotel beds I’ve slept in!
Front of house staff at check in were prompt and attentive to each guest.
Fresh water and fruit bowl set out followed by a traditional sweet cart through the day which you can help yourself to.
We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel as so many places to choose from and we didn’t want to be in the room other than to sleep.
We would certainly stay in this location again. Highly recommended

This hotel, probably refurbished in more recent years, is a superb choice if looking for a great location both for walking and underground tube stations. It is right in the Seven Dials location. It ideally located for West End theaters, both opera houses, national gallery, coffee houses and restaurants. The hotel staff is most helpful and lovely. The breakfast, which absolutely is worth including in your daily hotel price, has a superb buffet of cold foods and ready preparation of hot foods from the kitchen. This same facility is a truly hopping place in the evening, more so on the weekend, and serves great food and beverages. The staff in this Monmouth Restaurant (hotel borders on Mercer and on Monmouth Streets) also are very helpful and pleasant. The hotel rooms are not exactly giant in size, but most London hotel rooms are not super large as in USA, eg. The bathroom was very small for the twin (two beds) room, but much larger for queen standard and premium rooms. The rooms and overall the hotel are very clean, and the guest rooms are cleaned daily, including fresh towels. Despite its very central location, the rooms and lobby are very quiet. Although cars can pass through Seven Dials, no buses do so. For London prices and this location plus standard of service, this is an excellent choice. I plan to stay here once more on any next trip to London.

We chose this hotel for it’s location and it was a good choice. We were close to Theatre land, Covent Garden and plenty of places to eat and drink. We booked premium rooms, they were on 6th floor and we were happy with them. We liked the electronic do not disturb and housekeeping system - we pressed it when we went to breakfast and were very impressed that room was all done on our return.
We drank in the bar both nights and the prices were reasonable and not extortionate like some hotels. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Thank you for the birthday card and sweet treats - nice touch. When we are returning to London, I will be rebooking.

From the second we were stood outside like a lost tourists & a member of staff came out to ask if they could help us, I couldn’t fault this hotel. We were in fact looking for the hotel which is not clearly advertised as a Raddison, hence the looking lost.
Reception warm & welcoming with the offer of a glass of Prosecco, other days sweets were available.
Complementary upgrade to room 702 as well as a celebratory balloon, drinks & desserts.
Room was clean and well equipped with everything you would expect and more.
The bed was really big, mattress, pillows & duvet very comfy.
Room was cleaned twice a day.
Room 702 had a small window with view of the shard & the eye, adequate floor space & storage. Bathroom bright and clean.
Hotel itself very modern and again clean.
Ordered room service & the burger was delicious so I can only assume the food at the hotel restaurant is even better.
Great location especially for the west end & Covent Garden.
Could not fault, would stay here again and highly recommend.
