Super hotel, best stay over in London for a long time. Easy to find, 0.3 miles from both Bayswater and Royal Oak Tubes which we used. Staff super friendly, welcoming and courteous. Room... amazing, super lush. Bathroom a little cosy but amazing shower. Goodies in the bathroom, slippers in the closet. There was a fridge with water and chocolate in on our arrival, which when we came back the next day had more water and a bottle of milk! Safe in room with hair dryer and dressing gown. Coffee machine with pods, teas, coffees etc with biscuits, cereal bar and a packet of crisps, brilliant after a long delayed train ride! Room was ready early so we could drop bags and go out straight away and they stored our bags when we checked out 2 days later. Absolutely fabulous. I would just say if you are not too mobile ask for a lower room, we were on the top floor and there are a few sets of stairs to climb, especially if you come in after the bar closes as you go down the side of the hotel and up again. Gets your steps in! Saying that the room, atmosphere and super luxury of this hotel is worth it. They give you discount when eating there too. Cocktails are fabulous! We will be going again next time we go to London. We stayed 3 days/2 nights and
did The Sherlock Holmes Escape Room at Shepherds Bush, Mary Poppins show, Portobello Road and Notting Hill, Hyde Park BST Concert, Platform 9 3\4 and Madame Tussauds 😀

Fab rooms and location..

Stayed for 1 night late Feb 23, while visiting the capital for a Cirque du soleil performance at The Royal Albert Hall.
Very well located and a mere 5 min walk to high street where other bars and shops are located. Nearest tube is Bayswater about 7 mins walk but Notting Hill Gate is only a short 15 walk if Bayswater is closed

Room booked 2 weeks before stay with 10% discount £184.
The Haydon has a bar which is very cool and atmospheric. You can access the rooms from inside the bar and via a seperate entrance with steps down from the street
Rooms are very clean and well decorated. A few design issues with closeness of sink to shower in ensure makes it tricky to move about but is also clean and lovely decorated.
The details are well thought about and included a mini fridge with water and small bar of chocolate, great selection of tea, a coffee maker. Robes and slippers, hairdryer and USB Slots in plug sockets by the bedside
If you can't do stairs this won't be for you we had 3 flights I think for the room at the top and they seem to go on forever (didn't see that info when booking but may have missed it)
Overall a solid 4 star and a place I would defo stay again

We stayed for Sunday lunch the next day which is served in the bar - this sadly was disappointing. Food quality didn't match the price and I wouldn't recommend 3 star only for food

The biggest win for this place are the staff. Great service.. Friendly and go the extra mile!

This was a a wonderful surprise, pretty much perfect in every way.
Located on Westbourne Grove in Bayswater, less than 10 minutes walk from several tube stations, I would thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay, eat or drink (better still, all three!).
We were welcomed in, given a drink whilst we checked in and then shown to our newly decorated room above the pub. There was a comfortable bed, an excellent bathroom fitted into the limited space and nice extras in coffee and snacks. It was quiet at night too without the feared noise from below.
The pub downstairs was beautifully fitted out with a decent range of good pub food (some vegetarian options but could do with more) and a wide range of drinks and cocktails.
If staying at the Hayden there is a separate entrance and key for guests whilst all the staff we saw were, without exception, helpful and friendly.
And if that is not enough, it is in an excellent part of London with lots of other restaurants of all descriptions within easy walking distance

Amazing place to stay when visiting London with the added bonus of a fantastic pub and restaurant. The staff are excellent and always attentive and the food is excellent and very reasonably priced. The rooms are upstairs from the pub and you absolutely can not hear any noise from the pub, even at 8pm on a Saturday night. You can however hear the kitchen from 5;30 am until 10;30-11;00pm if you are in room 1 which is a shame, as room 1 is fantastic. Just the early morning and late night banging from downstairs that can be heard. As a light sleeper it affected me, but maybe not others. Even still, an outstanding hotel and pub well worth staying at. Highly recommended.

Great spot in Nottinghill. Came upon this place by accident and I’m really happy I did. Went twice during my two weeks and enjoyed everything about it.

The food -

short ribs for me - amazing, fall off the bone

Fish and chips and special of day (Mussels in creamy marinara sauce) - two thumbs up

Great service

Friendly management who was very social but not intrusive

Ice cold pints.

A must try!

We stayed here just for one night (2 couples). Couldn’t recommend this place enough. It was well above and beyond our expectations.
We were made to feel extremely welcome on check in, really friendly with a welcome drink. The quality and finish of the rooms was exceptional (better than many 4 star hotels we’ve stayed in!) very comfortable beds, extremely well equipped rooms - everything you need.
We also ate here for evening meal and brunch, which was also excellent, both food, drink and the service.

Would return to stay again - no question!

A first visit to The Hayden Pub & Rooms.

I really enjoyed this bustling Westbourne Grove pub and here's why;

What I liked:

• Warm, friendly welcome
• Exceptionally good service
• Friday night fish and chips
• Reasonably priced wines
• Very good pecan pie

What I didn't like:

• Minor point but the fish didn't taste as though it was fresh and had the texture of having been frozen and then over cooked batter.
• Not enough plant based options

Would I recommend a visit? YES
Was it good value: YES
Will I return? YES

Overall an enjoyable visit and if you like my bite sized reviews you can find more on Instagram @DansBites

Such a lovely hotel (/pub with rooms) - I stayed with my mum because we were going to an event at the Hammersmith Apollo, and we had a great time. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, everything went so smoothly, and the room had excellent facilities; we didn’t want for anything. We ended up eating in the pub and that was also excellent. The bed was huge and cosy, there was lovely (almost noiseless!) aircon - and with the windows closed, no traffic noise - a huge bath and waterfall shower head, etc. I don’t have a bad word to say about it, and we’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I recently stayed with our 2 children and had a great time at The Hayden. From the moment we picked up the keys at the bar, everyone made us feel at home. Rooms were very small, as expected for London, but impeccable. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spotless. We appreciated the free waters and chocolate in the fridge. We had dinner at the pub one night and the food was excellent. We were happy to be in such a lively neighborhood with many restaurants and stores nearby. A couple of tube stations 2-3 blocks away made it easy to get around. This option is not for everyone since you only get a room above a pub, but if you are looking for something different then think no more. Loved the Hayden! And thank you to Sylvia in particular for being such a great hostess during our checkout process.

We stayed at The Hayden Pub and Rooms for one night for a belated birthday trip to London and wow we just loved everything about it. We were welcomed with a complimentary drink while our room was prepared and even though we arrived a few hours before check in our room was ready so early check in - bonus! The room was a much better standard than expected. We thought it looked great from the photos on the website but it really was a superb space with a small living room and cool decor that was definitely very us. A home from home! We especially liked the little touches like complimentary chocolate in the fridge and a Nespresso machine to make decent coffee. The room and bathroom were also spotlessly clean. Our only regret is that we did not have chance to eat in the restaurant as we had already booked dinner for our one nights stay but the menu looked great and we did stop off for a nightcap in the bar and the cocktails were amazing. Looking forward to returning again, wouldn’t stay anywhere else now we have found you : )
