My wife and I stayed here overnight from the 10-11 February. We booked one of the super-rooms and was happy with space in the room, the bathroom had a shower in it which you could change setting on it. We were on the third floor and roadside but couldn't hear any traffic. The restaurant was clean and the food was good. I did like the map and the coffee machine in the room.

Stayed here on an overnight work trip. Hotel was clean, warm and safe.

I didn't have breakfast or use the bar. The reception staff were very helpful (Dee) and informative.

They have a number of electric charging points and the car park and area appeared safe.

The guy who checked me in and sorted my tea the same day was very pleasant. You can tell that the building and room is newer that others in London. The shower tray filled up with water very quickly so I could only take short showers. The woman working at breakfast didn't seem very happy. The TV in the room had very bad signal which was so disappointing. The location of the hotel is not in a very nice area as there is rubbish everywhere and a nasty smell from the nearby treatment works.

I'm staying at this hotel right now, it's the worst in recent history!
I got back about 30 minutes ago after a busy day out to find my room wouldn't open. Two trips by my son up and down and 20 minutes standing by the door waiting for help, I go down frustrated. The receptionists were busy attending to others, ignoring my problem. I insisted I was as important as the other people they're attending to and finally got one of them to come upstairs to try a new entry card which worked but the two we were previously given didn't work anymore.

I had requested housecleaning by hanging the required notice on the door before 11am as directed.
The beds were left unmade, no hand and floor towels, there's been no bodywash and no bin since we got here on Saturday 24th July so I was hoping that would have been corrected, but no, it wasn't. We had used 3 cups for tea, they were left unwashed and not replaced.

Back to reception to let them know - I stood in the queue but the receptionist beckoned to the gentleman behind me like I was invisible. Only when he refused and pointed to me was I attended to. Their cameras hopefully recorded this.

I was told there wasn't a senior person I could speak to, no complaints procedure either, only that rooms don't get cleaned until I had stayed for seven days and cleaners didn't clean properly anymore because of covid. . So dirty rooms, cups and spoons will remain for seven days!! ? - the excuse was covid!

If travelodge are happy to collect money in spite of covid, why is covid an excuse for leaving a room paid for like a pig sty? Why open to the public if they weren't ready to maintain proper levels of hygiene?

Was there a message I missed informing me that I would be expected to use same mugs for seven days? Or that a family three must use two rolls of tissue for a week? That there'd be no bin in the room? And when the tiny one in the bathroom filled up, we were to keep using it for the next seven days? Or that I'd be ignored and discriminated against because I dared to insist I wasn't less important than other guests??

The room itself was fine, our travelling companions suffered due to some sort of rave happening outside the hotel from around midnight through to the early hours. Our room luckily was far enough away from this

The corridor smelt strongly of weed followed strongly by an oversuse of spray to attempt to cover the smell

The room itself was comfortable, the bed and pillows in particular. The carpet could do with updating or a deep clean.

The shower was good with a strong water pressure

Breakfast was okay, while £10 for all you can eat is a fairly good deal the food was cold so we ended up eating very little

The room at travelodge Beckton was very clean, spacious, and in immaculate condition. And for me being an athlete space and hygiene are my number one priority when searching for hotels as it allows us to physically and mentally prepare for our upcoming competition. Andreia and the fellow staff went over and beyond to make my stay as enjoyable and pleasant for the duration going as far as helping me find local restaurants in the area. The sevice was very exceptional as wel and she was extremely accommodating and allowed me to leave my baggage under her supervision and stay in the lounge area as I had arrived prior to my arrival time. Would definitely send a friend there. Thank you! Will recommend to my fellow brummies and Dutch travellers!

Great location for access to central London and other parts of London and quick and easy train connections around the area.

Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception desk ready to help with any issues or challenges. Akita, one of the reception staff, is particularly very nice, friendly and helpful and she helped me to change my room easily and made me feel very welcome. Kudos to her for her excellent customer service skills!!!

Everyone was very welcoming with great customer services and they were very approachable with a smile when I needed their help. They also respected me throughout my stay, knowing my personal situations, which I thought it's best they knew as I needed to be protected wherever I am. They also reassured me from time to time to see if I was ok and if I needed anything. When I had someone to come and see me they checked with me first before letting the person see me for my own safety and the hotels safety. Breakfast was very nice, which also the breakfast staff assisted me which was very helpful as I'm a wheelchair user. My room was very clean with a fresh smell and a comfortable bed and comfortable pillows. Overall, I had a great stay at Beckton Travelodge so thank you to all the team. I would definitely stay here again. Keep up your hardwork, it doesn't go unnoticed!

When we arrived at our room it was a mess. The bedding looked ironed but there were brown stains everywhere. There were two of us but only one towel and one mug were provided. The air conditioning unit did not work at all. While it was showing 18 degrees it was more than 26 degrees in the room. It was so hot and muggy that we could not sleep. The windows of the room do not open. There is a landfill and a sewage treatment facility within walking distance of the hotel. During hot summer days even when the windows don't open, we could smell the tip.
We put the tag on our door which indicated we needed our room refreshed. The writing on it says that we must put it up by 11 am. We put it at 8:30 am. When we came back nothing was refreshed. We had our old soggy towel (still just the one), we ran out of toilet paper and none was provided, the awful stained sheets were still there. Staff didn't seem to care and only gave stupid excuses.

At night the car park of the hotel would turn into racing grounds. People would gather, eat junk food, litter, do doughnuts with their cars, or race around the hotel.

You would be able to hear the excessive noise from the A13 by the hotel no matter in which room you are.

The area is not safe at night. If you need to get to and from the tube/DLR stations I would strongly advise getting a cab. Walking the streets around the hotel at night is very dangerous.

I was at this hotel this week for 3nights and to be honest it was very nice, clean, lifts were very good and easy plus the staffs were 5* and parking was very very good, easy to travel from m25 right at tgs middle as you have everything around you so I would stay again without any hesitation.

Only thing I was very disappointed that I left some rashmali BANGLADESHI dessert in there staff fridge and they was two missing from 12 box, came to 10 box 1 box 4 people can share normally but was very disappointed at least have the decently to leave a note that you have taken out 2 or tell me but anywhere what's gone is gone next time with anyone do ask or tell them that's what your doing , this is why I have taken one star off, by the way this happened Thursday night or Friday morning....

Anyway thank you...
