The hotel and room itself was good value for money and was clean. The location was just where we wanted. The staff were very helpful and friendly so generally wasn't a bad experience. Just a few things that made it a less pleasurable experience. We found the room was very hot at night (especially considering it was December) but we did manage to use the fan in the room. The double room we booked was actually 2 single beds pushed together. The breakfast included wasn't fantastic, but appreciated that there was some. They said there was no usual morning breakfast due to COVID but they would deliver it to us instead. Included was a pain au chocolate, apple, banana, yoghurt and orange juice. If you don't like those though it wasn't great. Overall though I wouldn't be put off staying again.

Stayed for 3 nights and great location, the room was tiny but was a single so can’t expect much more in London. Shower wasnt very powerful but did the job, breakfast was basic but decent selection of fruit cereal bread and yoghurts. Quite good value for money - staff nice

Very basic room but it’s great value for money. Great location, just a walk away from Bayswater underground . The front desk staff are welcoming and very friendly. Comfortable bed so had a decent night sleep and the bathroom was clean. We were able to leave our luggage there after check out so that we could go and explore before our train home so that was very convenient.
Only downfall was that our room was on the ground floor right next to the lift/main front door so we did hear the other guests coming in and out. Would stay again but perhaps avoid that room. It Was also very hot in the bedroom and we did have issues opening/closing the window in the bedroom, but a member of staff kindly helped us with this.

Due to the Covid-19 virus I am not able to travel. I called the hotel and the phone was answered by the manager, I have dealt with him before as I stay at the same hotel every month and know his voice. I asked his name and he replied by asking me my name without telling me his. I said I know you are the manager and before you continue being rude, I am going to start recording this call. He proceeded to put the phone down on me. I called back x2 more times to try and sort out a refund or try and move my booking to alternative dates...but you guessed it he put the phone down on me 2 more times. The booking was made through Expedia and they found him to be rude too. Pity as it’s a good location for my work but this person should not be in a service orientated industry if he lacks something as simple as manners and a lack of understanding customer service.

While I didn't expected a 5 star hotel, given the price it had, I at least expected a normal size room, well, the room was extremely small, not even able to open my suit case properly, the bathroom was also small and the room had a smell that came from the bathroom. It had very bad ventilation and there's no air conditioned, given that the UK is currently experiencing a heatwave I had to leave early since I couldn't stand those conditions. If you're looking to stay on during summer in the UK I would say avoid this place. On the other hand if you're going to spend 0 time in your hotel and only use it to sleep when the weather is not as egregious you might want to consider it given its a "bit" cheaper than other hotels around.

The location of the hotel itself is very good and the staff was kind enough, but the room was a huge disappointment, they're asking too much money for what they're providing.

This budget hotel has everything you are looking for! Great location! Comfortable room! Clean!
If you want your room to be cleaned, make sure you mention it at reception as it is not done automatically.
Super friendly staff at the reception… especially the one from Barbados!
The single room was indeed compact but so comfortable! There is no need to be picky and this is truly great. I will come back for sure!

Stayed 2 nights and had the best sleep ever! The room was big, clean and had all what is needed for a short stay. Hair dryer, kettle with tea and coffee and also a fan as the room can get quite hot. Breakfast was just right with a selection of fruit, yoghurt, cereal bar, pastries and juice.
The location of this hotel is perfect with everything you need around you. Bayswater tube station is the closest. There are loads of nice restaurants close by with a little tesco and sainsburys for convenience.

We stayed here on the 16th February for one night. Me and my 7 year old daughter stayed here as we had a half term treat to visit London to see Frozen the musical.
The room was lovely and clean. It was small but perfect for the 2 of us. The room was very hot but we turned off the radiator and used the large fan while we were getting ready to go out. The bed was lovely and comfortable with comfy bed linen. My daughter slept like a baby all night.
Great location as close to Bayswater and Queensway tube stations. Also a bus stop at the end of the road to get us to Oxford Circus. Lots of eating places very close, and McDonald’s was just down the road which was great for my daughter to have a happy meal after the show to eat in our room.
All the staff were very friendly and spoke to my daughter and included her in the conversations.
We were able to leave our luggage before and after we checked in which was very helpful.
Chirag was extra helpful and friendly for us.
We will definitely be returning!

This was the second stay we had coming from Scotland for noting hill carnival. Staff were efficient and friendly, they go over the top to help you. Location is absolutely perfect if you are here for carnival, a few mins to all the action but the street is quiet enough to sleep well at night. Rooms clean , some refurbished and those are obviously much nicer. Free breakfast is a great addition. Had booked for 2020 but covid decided otherwise. Hope to be back 2021 !

Good rooms at a decent price. Friendly staff. Hotel was clean and rooms refurbished. We had two different rooms-one of which was a bit small but you have to expect that when on a budget in London. Bayswater is a great location to get to lots of things without the maddening crowds of other neighborhoods. Would stay here again, just don't expect posh but worth it for the money. If Anerican, just realize no mini-fridge (not common in this price point).
