Traveling a lot around the world for work and not, it happens to think that sometimes evaluating the quality of the hotel based on the stars is not enough. Anywhere in the world it's easy to find a 5-star hotel with anonymous and completely soulless rooms, poorly trained staff that follows point by point the company code of conduct, without moving a comma. Then one day you choose Brown's hotel for your stay in London and you think, this is a real 5 star hotel, but it is also much more. It is a warm, welcoming hotel but above all it is a place made up of people who love their work. And these beautiful people will anticipate all your needs and exceed all your expectations, believe me. Everyone, starting with the ladies who tidied up the rooms with such attention to the smallest details, with great dedication, without leaving anything to chance to the breakfast team, always kind and smiling, they fulfilled all our requests, even off-menu ones, without hesitations. The booking process was smooth and extremely pleasant, and we received a warm welcome upon arrival. I cannot fail to specifically mention Isabella, the guest relations manager, thoughtful and caring, she gave us so much attention and kindness. All of our stay, we felt really pampered, and it is a real luxury, something that unfortunately the stars cannot guarantee, just as they cannot guarantee that you will have an unforgettable holiday, like the one we had in this magnificent hotel.

Traveling as a couple with two adult daughters. We have never stayed at Brown's prior to this trip but have stayed at other Rocco Forte properties. Brown's was not our go to in London but thought to give it a try this trip. Great decision. The doorman greeted us and helped us and our luggage out of the cab. Our checkin was seamless and hostess most gracious and informative. Both rooms were upgraded at check in with our American Express program and we received two beautifully appointed, absolutely quiet junior suites facing Albermarle street. The hostess escorted us to our room and reviewed the features with us. The concierge found us a late lunch and made the call to get us in. He provided maps and we went on our separate errands. The Donovan bartenders were a pleasure and mixed a great Manhattan. Charlies for dinner was perfect. The Bellman who brought our luggage up arranged a large cab for our trip to Heathrow in the morning. Great location, easy access to the tube. A perfect stay. A minor issue was some stains we had to wipe off in the bathroom. Brown's we will be back. Thank you.

This is a phenomenal hotel, located in the heart of Mayfair. My family stayed here for 6 nights while celebrating Christmas as well as my wife’s birthday in London. The hotel was also in festive spirits as they offered us mulled wine upon arrival before shuttling us up to room 501, a deluxe suite where a bottle of Moët and pastries was waiting…quite thoughtful. The room was quite spacious as there was a large living room with a dining table and a separate bedroom which was huge. There was also a nice walk in closet along with a lovely bathroom that featured 2 separate showers as well as a separate bathtub.
We had breakfast every morning at Charlie’s and the selections were quite good. We also had dinner at Charlie’s twice and the food was fantastic. Donovan bar is quite nice as well.
The gym is well equipped but most importantly the location is hard to beat as you’re right next to bond street and a short walk to St James park, etc as well as green park tube and bus stops.
With the exception of the slow breakfast service on our last day, our stay was magical. The employees are very attentive and hospitable so we would gladly stay there again.

I’ve been to London many times and was so pleased to try the Brown Hotel during my latest stay. The hotel is steeped in history and has done a fantastic job preserving the stunning architectural features while modernizing the amenities to meet today’s most discerning traveler. The service was impeccable! From the door staff to the turn down service, no detail was left unnoticed. I was able to book services through the concierge that were bespoke, fairly priced, and provided safe, efficient ways to do many day outings without a care. The location also offers easy walk -to Piccadilly, Buckingham Palace, Knights guard stables, Big Ben, Westminster, Regents, and Carnaby. For the fit explorer, Chelsea is a 30 minute or so brisk walk. A special note that both Charlie’s and the bar offered incredible food and drinks. There were many vegetarian options. The drink menu and wine offerings were extensive and everything we ate and drank delivered! I will be back for many more stays.

A pleasant and complete afternoon tea, all the sweet or savoury sweet little sweets are excellent as well as tea. We will come back if we pass through London! The service is of quality, the price £30/person out of service still remains affordable considering the quality.

I recently went to Brown's to enjoy the Afternoon Tea at the Drawing Room, and what a delightful experience that was! While visiting Brown's not for the first time myself, it was a first time for my brother for his short trip to London. As the Drawing Room is a wonderful place to have a nice tea and atmosphere, I couldn't think of a better place for honest, thoughtful and personalised experience just from the excellent servise by the team members! Karol and Chiarina greeted us with a biggest smile. Servise provided by Lefter and Maria was exceptional, with their expert knowledge of the teas and recommendations in pairing it with sandwiches and sweets. While live piano music was playing and we had an amazing time, Rocco checked on us showing care for their guets. We did have the best Afternoon Tea experience thanks to iconic Brown's Hotel and it's core, which is an amazing people who makes you feel like a part of their family!

I had an incredible lunch at the restaurant in Brown's Hotel. The room was tastefully decorated with gorgeous Roman shades and whimsical wallpaper. Many black and white portraits, including some of the royal family, grace the wall. Our wait staff was attentive. I had the pumpkin soup puree with pesto, which was very healthy, lox was served tableside with integrity and dedication to tradition, the mushroom pasta was cooked to perfection, and the roast beef served with cauliflower mash, bread to sop the gravy, and vegetables were cooked to perfection. I will return to this little hideaway!

I would give this hotel 6 stars if I could. My husband and I came here for a work trip (3 days) but stayed for a week and had the best hotel experience to date. We usually stay at 4 or 5-star hotels but the biggest difference we felt with this hotel was the service and the people. The building itself is beautiful and they have the most divine scent when you walk through the lobby! The breakfast was incredible. The eggs benedict and crab omelette were superb! We did the afternoon tea as well and the little sandwiches were so tasty, tea was the perfect temperature and you can tell they have a pastry chef making all the desserts. It was my husband's birthday while we were there and I forgot to mention anything to the staff until 10 PM that night, so we went out for a drink when we got back there were desserts, 2 glasses of champagne, and a card in the room. My husband was so grateful! When we first got there our luggage did not arrive with us for 2 days so the staff was so great about providing us with products, hair straightener, all the things we needed. The staff is also very attentive to your schedule so they can clean and have turn-down service done in a very timely manner. I also loved the gym at this hotel. New equipment, clean, good size. The doormen were so helpful when we had questions about places to visit, would see us coming in a cab and run over with an umbrella if it was raining. They all had great senses of humour and were just very pleasant to be around. The staff also does a great job of remembering you and remembering things about you. I was just so impressed and agree with Winston Churchill when he said something along the lines of Brown's Hotel is not a Hotel it's a home! Thank you Brown's, we will be back!
