A real find. An hotel superbly sited for shops, attractions and transport. Very clean, staff extremely helpful. As stated on the web the situation is quiet in a residential square.
Our room was immaculate not a trace of skimping for the value offered, far superior to the impersonal ambience of a large chain hotel for the money paid and quite frankly why pay through the nose for a liveried doorman

Stayed just a night but wished we’d stayed longer . Had a de luxe room on 5 th floor . Lovely quiet part of London in a lovely old building . Tastefully decorated. Lovely ambience with soft music playing . It’s a small boutique hotel with none of the noise of one of the big ones ... Our room had a nice view . Very comfortable bed . Nice linen . I know there is not kettle but they’ll bring you a tray of tea or coffee at anytime . Served nicely , with china cups . Delicious tea ... We had the complementary cream tea which had perfectly cooked scones .. What a luxury to be served breakfast in your room . A real treat . We both had a really lovely cheese / tomatoe omelette. Freshly made and hot . So many thanks to everyone at the hotel who made our stay to enjoyable . They also looked after our bag after check out so we could go to an exhibition .

So I never actually write reviews but I booked this for me and my boyfriend as we was staying in london for his 21st and it was a good location, after booking I went online and got abit worried with the reviews… honestly have no idea what people are talking about??? The hotel is in such a nice area and the lobby is super cute. The receptionist was really lovely and we was offered cream teas and unlimited supply of soft drinks on arrival, the room was a traditional boutique type hotel room nice and clean and just overall lovely? Some people just clearly can’t be pleased and want to have something to moan about !!! Would stay again and would recommend. I had to write a review as after staying I thought the reviews were really harsh and someone needed to let people know it’s actually a nice place.

We chose this hotel because of its location.

The afternoon tea and scones were lovely and a nice little extra upon checking in. The rooms were comfortable but a little tired.

Upon check in we were given a room by the front reception and we asked if this be noisy as my husband is a bad sleeper when there is too much road or people noice and we were assured it was a quiet hotel by the receptionist.

Roll onto to nighttime and still at 11 o,clock the room next door was banging, talking really loudly, opening and closing their door going in and out to the reception-area to drink. In the end he had to call the reception to complain and they asked the guest to not make so much noice. Unfortunately it continued and he didn’t sleep.

We ordered breakfast the night before and again was disappointed to be served cold toast, a hard egg when we asked for soft. We rang to complain and were told we would have to wait another half a hour to get another bought to the room.

Upon check out we complained about the noise and the breakfast, they refunded the cost of the breakfast and said a manager would call about the room noise.

The manager didn’t call, I had to ring them they said they would not refund the room cost as we only made the one phone call to complain. They offered us a free nights stay but frankly I would rather not. It really put a dampener on our family weekend away in London.

This hotel is described as a 4 star hotel. Do not fall for it!!! It’s a 2/3 star B&B at best. Rooms severely need updating. We were in room 14. A drab brown room with cheap old fashioned furniture. The curtains did not close properly, wall paper peeling off everywhere, lime scale all over the bathroom, a ‘king size’ bed which was just 2 singles pushed together, the phone didn’t work, no drinks facilities in the room.
When we checked in we were provided with a sheet explaining the stay and covid precautions. It said there was an honesty bar which we were pleased about as in the room there was 2 small bottles of water and the tap water is apparently undrinkable. My husband went downstairs to find it since the phone didn’t work! And was told it wasn’t available - why was it on the sheet I was given then!?
When I booked the room, I was excited as they offered afternoon tea, that was also not available. Maybe something to remove from your website and all the search engines. Lots of false advertising. Very unimpressed with the continental breakfast, sad looking packet brought items which they had clearly heated up in the microwave. I could have had nicer at home. My husband ordered a coffee and they didn’t bring him a mug and again because the phone doesn’t work, he had to drink it out of a glass.

Would never stay again or recommend to anyone. Regardless of the location, they are ripping people off, it should be about £80 a night for the poor rooms and service provided.

The room was booked as part of a 70th birthday treat. One of the things that lead to the choice of this hotel was the offer of a complimentary cream tea and complimentary chocolates in the room. So we were very disappointed to find that, apart from the usual toiletries, all that was on offer was what can only be described as one budget pack of 3 bourbon biscuits! Between two people? Furthermore there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms, guests are expected to make themselves a hot drink in the reception area and run the risk of scalding transporting it back to the room.
When questioned about the lack of cream tea we were told they no longer offered it! By means of compensation for our disappointment we were offered a complimentary breakfast, which they offer at a cost of over £16pp. What arrived was a joke! The croissants were overbaked, stale and inedible. Had they been edible there were no plates from which to eat them. The fruit salad was best described as ok. Certainly not £33 worth of breakfast!
To add insult to injury guests are invited to complete a card in their rooms inviting comments on the amenities offered, the non existent complimentary cream tea being one of them.
Over a month later I see it still features on their website.

The location of the hotel is amazing, just around the corner from Harrods and it’s is amongst stunning houses. The staff are really friendly and will try and accommodate you as best as they can. The down points were it’s not free break fast like it says on the website and you don’t get free afternoon tea with scones like it also said on the website which was disappointing as this was a selling point for us. We also didn’t get complementary chocolates on arrival it was just a plain room. The carpet in room 9 where we stayed definitely need changing as it is quite trodden and little marks everywhere. The lamp on the desk does not work and it the overall room just wasn’t what we were expecting as it looked a lot better online. The bed is comfy however and the toiletries you get are very nice. We would stay again but only if the next room was updated and we got what was actually promised.

The hotel is long overdue for a complete refurbishment. We stayed there over 10 years ago and I don’t think it has even been repainted in that time. Our room was beyond tired….old, scratched, dirty furniture, taps not secure (could literally move them side to side), door handles loose, weird orange/brown stain going down back of door, ceiling lights in bathroom not flush with ceiling, crumbs of food on carpet. “View”of the dirty backs of neighbouring buildings…our room was “deluxe”. No turn down service. Room was £320 per night. Had breakfast included room rate which was £58 more than no breakfast room rate . Breakfast was continental breakfast and listed price was £16.75 per person. That in itself was a ripe off but to be charged £58 for what was £33.50 breakfast for two was infuriating. I did complain to Booking.com and was reimbursed the full £58. We had lovely breakfast in a nearby cafe. There’s huge competition in the area and The Beaufort need to up their game. Stay somewhere else…like The Egerton House Hotel …stayed there last summer and should have stayed there again (wonderful cooked breakfast, immaculate and modern rooms and friendly warm staff. . Just thought we’d give The Beaufort another go since we use to live on Beaufort Gardens and I was treating my daughter to a shopping trip. Never again.

Stayed at this small beautiful hotel situated in a residential part of Kensington. We were upgraded to a junior suite on arrival. It was our wedding anniversary but we didn't inform the hotel so, the upgrade was a pleasant surprise. The staff were pleasant, helpful and friendly. Afternoon cream tea which was complimentary added a nice touch so was the complimentary soft drinks, water, biscuits, tea and coffee. The room was nicely decorated and very comfortable. We were disappointed that the hotel did not have a restaurant but that was easily overcome by the many nearby eating places. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely two night stay in a superb small hotel set in a very quiet street just behind Harrods in Knightsbridge.
Had a junior suite room on 2nd floor which was very comfortable, staff are very friendly, nothing was too much trouble in these covid restricted times.
Breakfast was lovely all very fresh and beautifully presented at the time requested.
Hotel is very well situated to explorer West London with lots of buses running past the street 100m from hotel. Harrods is a five minute walk away.
We were there to celebrate a birthday, and would thoroughly recommend it.

Hi, I try to answer to the question I can: 1) sorry, don't know; 2) don't think so, but there is a 24h bar self-service available in the lounge; 3) very small and slow lift, but useful, as the stairs are very steep; 4) I think it depends on the room you ask for. Hope it can be helpful. Have a nice stay there! :-)
