nhow London is such a great hotel situated equidistant between the Tube stations of Angel & Old Street, a 10 min walk in either direction. It is priced as a mid range hotel.

nhow is a modern hotel, it's styling representing the City of London. Paid parking is securely located underneath the hotel and accessed by lift.

The rooms are incredibly comfortable & relaxing, in the bathroom you will find a large walk in shower. As the hotel is located just off a main route into London you might expect that it would be noisy in the rooms, happy to say they are not, perfectly quiet & spotlessly clean.

The team at the hotel are incredibly helpful, only too happy to chat & point you in the right direction.

The breakfasts are well catered for, either cooked or a selection of pastries, cold meats or cereals & an absolute bonus of tea in a real tea pot! You can have an evening meal in the hotel or visit any of the local bars & restaurants that are only a short walk away.

Our overall experience of visiting nhow London, was incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. I think we have found our new 'go to' London hotel.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at Nhow London, and overall really impressed with the visit. The decor and theme of the lobby and rooms was really special, with a ‘typical’ modern London vibe. Our queen bed was very comfy and both nights we had a great, uninterrupted sleep. Breakfast both days was delicious and plentiful.
There were 3 slight issues with our stay, which did result in a 4/5 star review.
1. No clear comms when checking in, we filled out our breakfast form and was told we’d have it at our room for 9am (our choice), we called reception at 9.30am and found out we had to tick a certain box for in-room breakfast and should come to the lobby. The second day breakfast we came to the lobby but our request sheet had been lost, so we had to fill in another. Only a slight misunderstanding but could be cleared with better communications.
2. Rooms aren’t cleaned until the 3rd night stay (absolutely fine), but with only 2 coffee & milk pods for 2 people you’d expect them to be topped up. We called reception and a top up was quickly dropped off.
3. The shower (both waterfall and handheld) were very weak with low pressure.
Overall a really great hotel that we’d definitely recommend or stay at again, despite the few niggles.

Stayed here for my partners birthday in suite 715. From the moment you walk in reception it just screams different than most other hotels. Funky, vibrant and a breath of fresh air.

100% recommend, staff were great and Brompton bikes were included with this room for free hire so we explored Regents canal and spent the afternoon at Camden lock. Continental breakfast included or for £7 each you can get a full English which didn’t disappoint!

Will be staying again

We stayed here over Valentines weekend. On arrival we were greeted in the funky eclectic (maybe trying a bit too hard to be cool) lobby by two very attentive staff. I tried to pay for the room and the £30 per night ‘incidentals’ charge with cash but was told ‘The hotel wasn’t set up for taking cash’ (not really sure how a hotel chain can’t take cash as payment but it would have been great to know that in advance).
The room was fairly standard for a 4-star hotel it would benefit it from a bigger dressing table with mirror or somewhere to sit other than the bed and having normal tea bags instead of the slightly hipster loose leaf flavored tea provided.
The bar is well stocked and staff were great but even though the receptionist advised they can take cash and card payments they only take cards.
On the 2nd morning we had breakfast in the hotel. The continental breakfast is over priced for the small selection of food they offer.
Be prepared for quite a lot of walking if you are planning to use public transport as the nearest tube station is about 0.5mile away.

Over all there is nothing really wrong with this hotel but there isn’t much to shout about either and I would personally avoid staying in another one of these hotels.

Room was too hot, surly maintenance guy adjusted room thermostat at 10pm and told me to wait an hour for temp to drop, it didn’t, reception sent someone up who turned all heating off, still too hot, windows don’t open so really stuffy, they did offer to change rooms but was too late by then. Didn’t sleep.

Paid £30 on booking for breakfast, expected an egg at least, offered a cold breakfast and an upgrade for £15, really mean spirit breakfast.

Best part of £200 for a night left feeling tired & cheated.

I terribly sorry to read that the temperature in your room hadn’t been adjusted to what you were expecting. We will certainly look into the issue with my chief engineer. The hotel is very clean and contemporary. The breakfast was good and the room itself was fine however we never received the free drink we were offered at check in for not having our room cleaned. The promotion was for a drinks voucher if you used the green stay sign in your room to signal you didn’t want your room cleaned. We put what we thought was the correct sign on the room door but it turns out it wasn’t the right one however we never actually had the right sign in our room in the first place. When we called down to reception to explain the man who answered was very unhelpful and refused to honour the offer even though he accepted that housekeeping did not put the correct sign in our room to use.
When we followed it up at checkout the lady on reception was very apologetic and offered us a discount voucher for our next stay which we agreed was fair consolation however we never received this either.
We appreciate that a drinks voucher is not a big deal but it’s very disappointing to be offered something and never receive it.
There were also a few small issues with the room, the shower tray is too shallow and the water leaks out, we had to use a wet bath mat the second day due to our room not being cleaned. Also there were tea and coffee facilities but no spoons and again, as we had not had the room cleaned the coffee pods were not replenished on the second day.
All in all, the hotel had a lot of promised but really under delivered on our expectations.

Glad to see NH Hotels have a second property in London and partner and tried it out the last weekend in July. We were not too sure of location to begin with as usually stay NH Kensington. Walked from Angel tube roughly 15 mins to Hotel. Very quirky funky decor and friendly welcome. Our room wasn't huge but fine for two nights -Deluxe superior. Not a huge amount of storage but absolutely fine for a couple of nights. Nespresso machine and electric kettle in the room (the kettle was in the form of a porcelain teapot!). Loved the decor and the corridor dimly lit with velvet curtains and each room door painted like a front door in different colours. Breakfast was served to our room, you could choose to have it in the lobby but I'm guessing due social distancing it is better to have it in your room. Breakfast was very good indeed, you hand reception a breakfast form the day before ticking what you would like and at what time. Getting back to the location we discovered busses! no problem at all walking out of hotel and 3 mins later you are at the bus stop and we managed to get to most if not all of our planned destinations. TFL website gave great route planning and time tables etc. We used the bar a couple of times during our stay and service was always friendly and prompt. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back soon.

We were in London in the city and so decided to stay. We had a great experience the reception lady was lovely( unfortunately can’t remember her name) and we got a lot of information and a bed up grade. The hotel’s decor is amazing mixing fantastic artwork, with old furniture that’s recycled and modernised to make it look quirky/funky and that was just the lobby, bar and dining areas. When we got to the room the decor continued and we just had fun in the room. The pillows are a little too soft for my liking and so asked for more and there was no problem with that. Due to covid restrictions they did explain they have limited some resources in the room but what we had was adequate enough. The air con was on initially but we worked out how to turn the temperature up and after that the room was very toasty just how we like it. The bed was comfortable, shower was powerful and just a great vibe knowing that they have put eco measures in place. We had breakfast included which is like a continental but for a extra charge you can add a hot breakfast and further charge to have it brought to your room. Whether you have breakfast in the dining area or your room you have to be assigned a time slot. Breakfast came and the guy again was very friendly and it was hot and appears fresh & definitely tasty. The tea was real tea leaves in a pot which I loved. So I really don’t have no problem with this hotel, my partner only had one small issue which was due to arriving later he parked in the underground parking and although this morning it was obvious where the door to the hotel was late at night he said the door was not obvious especially as the decor is so eccentric in the whole hotel that he initially missed the door entrance pad to get in. Otherwise we had a great stay.

We stayed here for one night on an introductory deal which included breakfast. Location is good, around a 10 minute walk to the tube station and the amenities of Angel. Staff were very friendly and helpful and check in/out was efficient. Breakfast was lovely and had a good selection of fresh tasty food. The decoration is really unique and fun, although the large peep hole in the bathroom door is an interesting choice. Rooms had tea and coffee making facilities as well as other useful things such as an ironing board/safe/hairdryer and the beds were very comfortable. Shower is powerful and the toiletries smell great. We did have a few problems with our keys suddenly not opening the bedroom door and another couple were allocated our room after we were already in it which caused some confusion at the time. Staff sorted this all out quickly and it can easily happen - we realise this is a brand new hotel. Would recommend!

Stayed here due to lack of water in my house, decided to treat myself to a nice hotel instead of a budget stay and I am so glad I did.

First of all the decor, whoever was your interior designer - they need a raise. Elements of London with a cool, modern flare. I loved it.

The staff are hot on their COVID procedures too which is encouraging. We got upgraded to a deluxe room without even asking. A lovely surprise.

Rooms were spotless and the cool design elements continue into the rooms - top hat lampshade anyone?

A continental breakfast was included - you choose on check in. We didnt know what we'd fancy, so went for everything and were presented with a feast of options. All were fantastic.

I genuinely cannot fault this hotel and I'm glad I got the chance to do so!
