Hotel's Favourite
Brilliant hotel, rooms and hotel were clean and airy. Located in the centre of Liverpool so ideal accommodation. Staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for us. No kettle in room but they sold hot drinks and snacks at reception and plenty of places local to go for breakfast, Greggs shop next door. Street pedestrianised so can't park outside but car park not far away.

We’ve just returned from back from this hotel & had a very good experience. The hotel Is in prime location for shopping, entertainment, food, bars etc. Everything is in a few minutes walk.
THE HOTEL:
The hotel is a ‘budget’ style hotel but very modern and clean. The hotel is small fronted and reception is basic buts it’s all you need for a quick cheap stop over. There is a lift that goes just to floor 1 in the reception area - again so it’s accessible for wheelchair users (no steps) and another one through a door from reception but I believe that was out of order - it didn’t make any difference to our stay tho as we only needed floor 1.
THE ROOM
We stayed in room 101 which was in the 1st floor. It was a accessible room (which to be honest we didn’t need, it was just all that was left when booking and literally cost us a few pounds- reason we booked it) the room was huge! It had a double bed, TV, long length mirror on the wall, wall wardrobe, and a huge walk in wet room. Wet rooms put me off booking usually because everything basically gets soaked BUT it did not happen here! The bathroom was huge and the shower section had a curtain around it all so no water actually escaped to the toilet, sink or on to the towels! Everything in both the bath room and bed room was new & modern but simple. In the booklet we were given at reception there was a price list on the side but the lady said it didn’t apply to our room and it was all included so I’m not sure if you normally have to pay for that? (Please see picture I’ve added)
My only comment would be to put bottled water in the room and a kettle with tea and coffee. We travel quite a lot and learnt from our mistakes before when we’ve woke up and not had anything to drink so we buy some water our selfs now just incase. No other problems or comments.
We would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone whose looking for a cheap, central Liverpool stay. We would come back again.

Booked a room for the 11.1.20 for just one night at a cost of £39. Double room no window, fantastic no disturbance through the night from outside noise which we have had on previous visits to different hotels. Staff on reception really helpful and hospitable, paid for late check out at £15 all in all great night great room at a great price. Would definitely return and definitely recommend

Hotel was easy to find, check in wasn't straight forward as reception could not find our details initially as we had booked as part of a small group.
We stayed in Room 124 which was a fair trek and not easy to find, hotel signage is confusing. Room itself was tiny for two people for two nights, with no window felt like a prison cell. However the bedding was clean as was the room itself. The walls could do with a lick of paint as they were scuffed and marked. The Shower Room was the Tiniest Room ever, definitely needs urgent attention, shower tray had paint stains all over it, the hand basin plug hole was disgusting, full of hair and grime that prevent the sink draining efficiently. The bathroom door would not lock as the bolt on the door and the hole in the frame did not align. Housekeeping staff stood chatting right outside our bedroom door on first morning, which woke us up. Reception team all friendly. Would I stay here again, No think I would pay a little extra as it wasnt value for money and there are better value hotels in the city for the accommodation we got

After booking the hotel at 2pm and checking in at 3pm we were nothing but Impressed, we came to Liverpool for a spontaneous night away & paid £28.80 for the room on booking.com so was quite sceptical. When we arrived the reception area was extremely clean, the gentleman who checked us in was lovely and very accommodating asking us if we had any room preferences. We then got to the room and was surprised how big the hotel was as it looks small from the outside but it’s like a maze once in there, the room was lovely, spacious and welcoming. The bathroom was spotless & the air conditioning was a welcomed aspect! Will be returning and would reccomend to all!

While this place didn’t exactly spark-joy for me, it fit the bill and was pretty inexpensive. The location was absolutely fantastic and the staff were friendly enough. The one thing that irritated us was the nickel and diming of the establishment. While we got a free wifi code for one night, they charged for use of the TV in the room (that’s a new one) and charged for luggage storage. All in all not a bad hotel. While not our first choice for a Liverpool return visit, we would not be opposed to staying here again.

My friend and I paid just under £60 for a nights stay in a twin room. The room it’s self was clean and comfortable. Two large windows made the room feel open yet the black out curtains do their job well at keeping out the early morning sun. The beds were very comfortable. Only one pillow each which were rather flat, we did ask reception for more pillows after an hour and nothing arrived we rang the hotel from our room and spoke with another member of staff, who around 20 minuets later brought us two much more plump pillows. Air con in the room is very welcoming, meaning we could keep the windows shut, there was loud music playing out in the streets below but with the windows shut once we wanted to sleep this wasn’t a problem.
The hotel layout was quite a maze and the fact one of the lifts was broken didn’t help the situation. There are sign posts at least to follow.
The location of the hotel is perfect for walking distance to all the central tourist attractions and night life. There are numerous bars and restaurants a stones throw away either side of the hotel front doors.
The website did state there was reduced parking for £8 near to the hotel. After finding the hotel, we quickly realised we couldn’t drive up to it as the street has been made safe for pedestrians. We couldn’t find information on where we actually park. Luckily a kind traffic warden allowed us to park in a loading bay while I walked down to the hotel to find out where to park. I wouldn’t really say it was near by, especially when carrying luggage and I wasn’t prepared with the best footwear for the walk. Upon leaving the hotel and getting the parking discount it we discovered it was actually £9. Our car was safe and that is the main thing, it would be a lot more beneficial if more information is provided before hand on the website or booking email.
The staff were all very polite and helpful.
We would definitely return 😊

Called at 1:30am to see if they had a room and was told yes just come and they would sort me out. Arrived at 3:15 and was in bed by 3:30 the chap at the desk was great and a life saver. For 27 pound room was good size and clean only problem was the ventilation system was outside my window and was little bit noisy but would recommend to anybody needing a cheap place to stay thanks for helping me out

I have stayed at this hotel several times before over recent years, but it's really gone downhill. The public areas are dirty/damaged and the rooms don't get cleaned properly. There were layers of dust on room surfaces, the floor was still dirty and the duvet cover was torn but they still used it. I felt like I needed to have a shower every time I touched anything.
Most hotels have a more robust cleaning policy now, due to Covid. This place is dangerously dirty!
The mattress on the bed desperately needed to be replaced. Each time I moved, the springs twanged and pinged.
On top of all of this, the level of noise was awful from other guests. On my first night, I had to call the reception at 3.30am to complain about the loud shouting and singing by people on the floor where my room was (to be fair, the guy on reception came up and dealt with it very quickly).
Every time I used the lift, it stank of weed.
I will never be staying there again.

Truly awful hotel. I felt anxious and like I was in a hostel when I was in this hotel. To get to my room I had to travel up 2 separate lifts, through a maze of corridors, then up and down stairs.
I paid extra money for a room with a window and the window was facing directly at a moss covered wall.
When I reached my room I perched on the bed and the bed was so uncomfortable, springs were pinging and the bed just felt unsafe. I could hear lots of noise on the corridor and was scared someone could get in my room.
The bed was pushed against a wall and could only be entered by one side. The wall it was pushed against had paint cracking off.
I didn’t stay overnight in my room and I walked out of the hotel about 15mins after I arrived there.
Never again will I visit and would advise everyone to avoid.

We stayed at the NCP Moorfields I think the hotel gave us a discount voucher which made it £8 per day - you need to check if they still do this as its very expensive without the voucher.
Dear,
Available NCP car park on Vernon street only 3-4 mins by from our hotel. You can collection your voucher ticket from the front desk and 24 hours parking just 8£. Thank you
