Aloft Hotel Liverpool L1. I just held a private party for over 50 friends in tbe mezzanine at Aloft Hotel Liverpool. I had arranged tbe food and drink menu previously with their events coordinator Rebecca. It was all very smooth snd dealt with professionally. The bar manager Andy and the bar staff Robyn and Arowen served everything perfectly. My guests were all totally happy with tbe service, tbe food and tbe drinks. It was a perfect evening and everyone agreed the hotel and its staff had done a superb job. I will absolutely book this venue again when I fly over to U K Liverpool for another party celebration. Kudos to the Hotel and staff for an amazing experience. Kindly, Jonpaul Holt. Vancouver. Canada 🇨🇦
The receptionist was helpful and friendly. Unfortunately that was the best thing about the hotel. The cleaning standards in the main reception were poor, with dirty floors and lifts and this carried on into my room where there was a tide mark in the sink and the toilet seat was loose. The curtains were nylon, presumably so that they can be wiped clean easily, and the shower door didn’t shut properly. The whole hotel is pervaded with a smell like a charity shop. Come on Marriott, get your act together!!
We stayed here for one night early January. The city was quiet after New Year & we were upgraded to a better room (with views over the city). Staff (especially the "young" girl on reception) were very polite & friendly. Perfect, central location. Reasonable parking (£12 per day) in multi-story (less than 5 mins away). No complaints & would definitely return. (dog-friendly too)
Fabulous hotel in historic insurance building great bar 2/1 cocktail specials! Delicious drinks. Great restaurant. Great location just up the road from Mathew st Cavern Bar. Walkable from train station. Omg great restaurant with fabulous drinks specials and food across the street called slug and lettuce. Near shopping mall area. Walkable up bud depot. Took bus to Liverpool FC Anthem stadium but walked back. Walked to theatre district. Walked to water wharf area Near Beatles museum. Stayed in 3 hotels in Liverpool during our stay this one was best! Staff (Marta, philamina, Jay, Victoria, Dave maintenance, maid service everyone) , location the best! Bar and restaurant the best!
The rooms are rather basic. The bed is comfortable but the separate sink/toilet arrangement isn’t for me. The in-room coffee is awful. The location is very central and convenient for any tourists. Didn’t get any room enhancement as Marriott member.
Booked our work conference here and stayed overnight The hotel and rooms are beautiful. The staff are warm, welcoming and helpful. Although short staffed which had a few minor setbacks on the day, conference staff worked hard to take care of the group and check-in. I value the honest approach and it didn't impact on the contents of out day Issues with disabled access; before booking I would call ahead to check if their outside lift is working and their toilet facilities in reception are functioning. On the two occasions I have visited, they have not been. As an ambient wheelchair user this was minimally disruptive for me but, could cause bigger problems for others
Had a great visit friendly team, clean room and located close to the city making it easy for a good night out. Would stay here again the next time we visit as made the night away special. Thank you to all the team
At first glance the stone exterior is a bit bland. Step inside and the spacious lobby blends old and new. The room was fine, no view, bed was comfy but the pillows confuse me. One is just a bit too flat and 2 together are too much!! I have yet to find the Goldilocks pillow...just right!! I want to commend Felipe. I accidently left something behind and he worked way above and beyond to help get my item mailed home. I will pay for it, but since I was on a bus tour, we had to communicate by email and he was so patient, kind and thorough!! My negative is with the morning breakfast. It seemed some of the serving dishes were leftovers or very overcooked. All hotels have the same "included"menu, so it does get boring after awhile. I would go back (and bring my own pillows!!)
Since last week I am trying to book a table at their restaurant. The online booking service is out of order, the phone number written on the website allways leads to an answering machine and this morning I called the reception to report the problem and they told me that they could not help me ! Incredible. They gave me the email adress of the reception and I wrote my demand for a table's booking but nobody answered ! Very bad !!
After reading the Trip Advisor reviews prior to our visit we were a little apprehensive pre stay but we were thoroughly pleased with our overnight stay. Great location.in the city centre. The reception staff were amazing & the room was spacious, comfortable & clean. We didn’t take breakfast at the hotel so unable to comment. We’d like to stay again in the future. Thank you everyone
