Chez mal, brasserie Sam is lovely! Made our night :) What a man he was fantastic his service was second to none. Hotel location next to car park also great, 2 seconds away and easy to find. Thanks Sam!
We had a lovely stay at this hotel, the room was nice and clean and the food in the restaurant was great. The best part of the stay had to be the staff (Vanessa on reception & Beth in the restaurant) who couldn't have been friendlier and made our stay such a positive experience.
We had a lovely stay at the Malmaison which is ideally located down on the waterfront close to Albert Dock. It’s a nice quiet spot yet literally 10 minutes walk to the city centre or the bars & restaurants at Albert Dock. There’s a multi storey carpark next door to the hotel which was tidy and felt safe. Parking cost £19.50 for between 12-24hrs. Checking in was easy and quick with no problems at all. The room was a good size, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was well done out. Everything was tidy & clean. Despite being told our room didn’t have a view we could actually see across to the Liver building and the waterfront from where we were on the 6th floor. First time stay at a Malmaison and would recommend this hotel for sure. Be aware the brand decor internally is quite dark but tastefully done. Check out was as easy as check in. Well worth a visit.…
Gorgeous hotel & really spacious rooms, bathroom was beautiful, beds were so comfy. Vanessa on reception was friendly & helpful and the bar staff made excellent cocktails. Perfect location near Albert Docks with parking next door if needed. Only downside was no breakfast included for £185 a night. Overall a really nice stay, thank you.
The location was good (down by the waterfront) but I felt it was very over priced especially since solo guests pay the same as couples. I booked it as a bit of a treat to myself as I had heard Malmaison hotels were special and wanted to try them. But I didn't find it special at all - though it was comfortable and clean - and I feel that I could have got an equivalent room elsewhere for half the price. The room was average and dark with no views and very few amenities. Bedding smelt slightly of stale smoke but otherwise the room was clean and the bathroom generous. Bed was comfy. Food was subaverage - menu was typical pub fare but not great cooking. Staff were lovely people though.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 days at the Mal Liverpool. We are massive fans of the mal and stay at them whichever city we visit. Staff were so nice, room was gorgeous. The huge bath was a bonus. Breakfast was delicious as always. Ideal place to stay . Loved looking out at the cruise ships. Very central location.
We recently visited this hotel for 2 nights and we had a fantastic time. Check in was really easy and all the staff were really attentive and welcoming. The hotel decor is really fun and quirky, and the location is ideal for exploring Liverpools top attractions. The room itself was modern and clean, with a really comfy bed and plenty of added amenities. Plus we were lucky enough to have a view over the water. The bathroom was spacious with a large bath and a good shower, with good quality products available. Breakfast was delicious and really good value, all produce was fresh and well stocked each morning. The cocktail bar is a comfortable space serving great drinks and snacks, the bar staff provided an excellent service. Overall a fantastic experience was had, would recommend to anyone wanting a laid back, modern hotel in Liverpool. …
Great location easily walk into the town centre via Albert dock - stopping for drinks on the way through . Staff v helpful despite them appearing v busy due to a wedding party . Rooms spotless and roomy , great toiletries available. Bar - fab great cocktail menu and bar staff happy to go off menu !
Stayed just for one night last night. Nicely appointed rooms, with a very comfortable bed with fine bedsheets. Shower had good pressure, and towels/bathrobe/slippers were nice. Complimentary Nespresso coffee, bottled water, and chocolate bon bon. Breakfast was also very tasty and fresh. Overall great execution by a top-notch hotel. Location is also good, next to the water, with a short walk to the city center. I will definitely look to stay here next time I come to Liverpool.
Bar man Sam was exceptional recommended some great drinks and was really helpful would definitely recommend taking up his drink recommendations. Very friendly and welcoming. All staff were extremely helpful and could not do enough for you, will definitely go back.
