Came for a leisurely birthday lunch which ended up going on into the night. Our servers, Norbert and Kieran, were endlessly patient, efficient and good humoured with the demands of a large (and thirsty) party. My food was excellent - possibly the best fish and chips I've ever had - though we could've done with more crackers with our cheese plate! Staff generally were friendly and helpful and there seemed to be a laid back vibe in the bar. I'll definitely return.
I cannot recommend this hotel enough! I booked this hotel as it was recommended by a friend who had previously stated here. Having important guests coming to visit us from America for this first time (my adopted sister and her husband). I am originally from Liverpool so was taking them there to see where I was born so wanted somewhere nice to stay. From the minute we arrived, the locals who were attending a wedding, could not have welcomed us anymore. We then entered the reception area and the staff were just so welcoming. We were shown to our lovely rooms with amazing views of the docks being redeveloped. It looks so amazing there now having changed so much since I last lived there. The bar was amazing and the cocktails were just the best and what a selection along with every other drink! We ate one night in the restaurant and the food was great. Breakfast was good too and the selection was great and loved that your plates are warmed! The hotel is clean, the staff are all just amazing and friendly. The only negative is it is a bit away from the City Centre but don't let this put you off as we just ordered an Uber or a taxi from reception and it didn't cost a lot. It's the best hotel in Liverpool so make sure you stay here when you visit as you won't regret it!!…
We spent 2 nights in the titanic hotel last weekend and we absolutely loved it. The building itself it’s stunning, with the original exposed brickwork and pipes but then finished in a lovely spec. The rooms are huge, like mini living rooms, with armchairs, the beds are extremely spacious and comfortable and the black out curtains and like you wouldn’t believe. At midday with the curtains drawn it’s pitch black like the middle of the night. The breakfast was nice, good selection, nice dining area. We enjoyed sitting outside on the dock on our first day, drinking gin and tonics (great gin selection), whilst topping our tans. Staff were friendly, and helpful. We paid £20 each to use the spa which was nice, fairly basic but enough facilities for the 2 hours you get with robes and towels whilst your there. We would recommend and come back…
Would have been 5 stars if the customer service was of the same standard as the hotel. They also take £25 out of your account on check in - we were not informed about this either and can take up to 3 weeks for a refund. The staff on the floor are amazing and can’t do enough for you. The rooms are massive, our fridge didn’t work but it was no big deal. The breakfast was good and the al a carte restaurant is great. However, I had some issues with our stay relating to the spa and my grievances were met with dismissal and I was made to feel in the wrong. If you have any issues apparently they’re not legitimate unless you raise them at the time even if it’s not convenient or comfortable for you to do so. I expected so much more from what is a fantastic hotel.
Was on my stag in Liverpool and was in a state, I ended up lost and out in the middle of nowhere. Went in this hotel at 3am and they got me a cab and got me to my hotel. I had no phone or wallet and they saved me. Thank you!
The Titanic Hotel and the neighbouring Tobacco Warehouse can be discovered at Stanley Dock. I discovered this overwhelming location 2019 when I was drawn towards the Dock’s powerful and historic structures. In 2019 I booked accommodation at Albert Dock unaware of Stanley Dock. In my view, this is the heartland of this region of Merseyside leaving me ashamed to not previously be aware of Stanley Dock. Where settlers of yesterday arrived to new hope and where the ancestors of the majority of those early settlers left Liverpool for various Colonies to further the hopes of their descendants. History states this. Recently I returned to Liverpool when I had the good fortune to stay overnight at The Titanic on 15 June 2022. I arrived to discover my 2nd floor room had been upgraded. Many hotels in Liverpool have walls, bricks and surrounding infrastructure that speak aloud. The Titanic is indeed one of the boldest to speak aloud and softly to you as the morning light casts shadows on your ceiling of bricks and mortar. You are swallowed by the atmosphere unless you are engaged with the TV. That’s about the best I can say and have stated Sumptuous for another yet very different hotel located in the city’s centre. A different kettle of fish being right in heart of city and not being on Stanley Dock. I mention this because the various staff I came across via these 2 locations during my recent visit to Liverpool were all very professional, taking pride in their work, in their city as reflected at The Titanic. In my view, whether you have pre-organised outings or accommodation to suit your plans, a visit to Liverpool is incomplete without either coffee or an overnight stay at The Titanic; about a 20 min walk to the city centre or an under £10 cab. If staying for 1 or 2 days be prepared to recognise you will be reluctant to wander away. Such is the monumental presence of The Titanic Hotel, The Tobacco Warehouses and of Stanley Dock. Cuisine, Staff allocation per patrons, willingness to acknowledge, quietly anticipate goes towards Management Standards. Housekeeping very good and Best Bedding. Quality mattress - often a significant concern. Chairs you can sit in without the need to puff up many cushions; support for your lower back. I was solo and very comfortable in this respect.…
Me and my partner stayed at the hotel for our anniversary and absolutely loved it, we got a room with a docks view which was the best choice! I loved the seat so you can watch out. The room was massive too and lots of choice on the tv even sports which we were shocked by. Massive shower which made up for the lack of bath. Staff were lovely and the breakfast was great too. Loved the titanic memorabilia as well, only thing I would suggest is more lighting in the rooms and the spa be more available.
Stayed here for 1 night, the room felt unloved and in need of a bit of TLC. In the bathroom the toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall, the holder for the soap in the shower was also hanging off with a dangerous bit of metal sticking out, rubbish like bottle caps and tags off clothes left from previous customers. The wall had been repainted in the corner of the room with a different shade of paint. Sink not cleaned properly at the back. Not what you expect for a premium price.
*already emailed the hotel a week ago and they have failed to respond so writing a review to warn other customers* I would like to draw to your attention a very dissatisfactory experience we had while staying at your hotel 9th-11th June. During The first day and night of our stay we were happy with the level of service and atmosphere in the hotel. Unfortunately upon returning to our hotel on the evening of Friday 10th we were greeted with very loud music coming from the event room. This didn’t bother us downstairs but when entering our room (129) we found that we were right about the event room and the music was so loud our room felt like it was physically shaking and the volume was so high we could actually hear every word of the lyrics. After giving it some time we went down to the front desk to ask was there anything they could do where they was an extremely unhelpful member of staff who even joked ‘we had free access to the event’ since it was so loud. He told us the event would be over at 12pm and there was nothing he could do apart from offer us earbuds that house keeping would being up. The earbuds never arrived, and we didn’t received any further help or communication - no one came to our room to even witness the level of noise. It got to past midnight when we were promised the music would stop and it was still as consistently loud at this point, we rang down to reception again and were told it’s actually not over to 1am which made us feel like we were misled. He logged the complaint but we we told there was nothing else they could do. So from when we arrived back at the hotel at 10pm until 1am (there was still further general noise after this) we had to endure this music which meant we had a complete inability to sleep. This is extremely disappointing as a hotel that I have consistently visited before and always enjoyed. Our stay was great and the staff were wonderful up until this point but paying for an above-average priced room for a night where we are completely unable to sleep for hours is not acceptable - it ruined what would have been a lovely stay. I am recently recovering from surgery and came for a relaxing stay in a out-of-city centre hotel which is usually very quiet and instead were left sleep deprived and very frustrated with being misled by the front desk and overall lack of support from staff.…
We can’t recommend the Titanic highly enough. We recently had an engagement party in the West Bay room. For a start, they don’t actually charge you for use of the room; you only pay for whatever food you order for your guests. This makes the cost extremely reasonable in comparison with other venues we viewed. Once you have booked, they allocate you an events room based on the size of your party (ours was 100 people). Ours was the West Bay, which is a gorgeous, bright, spacious room with lovely original features and a good-sized dance floor. They also set you up with a dedicated events coordinator. Ours was Charlotte O’Brien. Charlotte was an absolute joy to work with. No request was too much, no question too silly. Her general starting point for everything we asked for was to say “yes”, but when there were instances that she needed to say no she would offer alternatives. She responded swiftly to enquiries and worked with our decorator to ensure everything looked and happened as we wanted. On the night, they again assign you an event coordinator who runs your evening and keeps everything on schedule on the day. Ours was Daisy. She made everything incredibly easy, was always on hand to move the event along and was just, in general, excellent. I should also mention that we stayed the night at the hotel, the rooms are incredible (we only had a standard room and it was massive!) and the breakfast the next day was great! I honestly cannot sing their praises highly enough and would highly recommend anyone considering hosting an event to choose the Titanic Hotel.…
