The Premier Inn Liverpool City Centre (Liverpool One) Hotel garners positive reviews for its serene ambiance and spotless rooms, with guests frequently commending the powerful showers and comfy beds. While the central location is a highlight, providing easy access to shopping and dining, some visitors have noted disturbances from the nightlife.
Though the hotel's value is generally appreciated—especially the Premier Plus rooms and meal deals—there are occasional concerns over parking fees and room issues. The staff's friendly and efficient service is a standout feature, despite a few reports of slower service.

Detailed Reviews
We stayed here on "re-opening night" July 4th, after lockdown.
We stayed in a family room for 2 adults and 2 children. We parked in the car park about a 5min walk away which meant our car park cost just £6 for 24 hours. There was a clear map for the way to walk in the car park lobby which was helpful. You do need to get a ticket from reception which you scan before scanning your car park ticket to get this discount rate. Also worth noting the car park is only open for entry and exit between 0700 and 1900.
We had booked and paid for Albert Docks, but 48 hours before opening the decided to tell us they were not opening at all, and we were moved to this one half a mile away.
While it was not the location I had booked our stay was excellent.
The social distancing and covid safety measures they have put in place are excellent.
Hand sanitiser by every lift / reception, markings and one way systems on the floor. They ask that only 2 individuals or 1 family group travel in the lift at a time, which is fair enough.
The Rooms literally have the beds made up (with 1 pillow), a remote for the telly and 1 small leaflet about the rules (social distance and check out time basically), a bin, and nothing else to "touch"
The restaurant is not open yet but they do breakfast boxes. (no idea how much)
These contain a porridge pot, fruit salad, carton of juice, a muffin and something else that I forget.
You can ask for more cups / glasses / pillows etc at reception and if you order a take away to be delivered they will let you use a plate from the restaurant etc.
Unless there is an extreme cleaning emergancy no staff are allowed to enter your room.
We all slept well in our comfy beds, enjoyed a hot powerful shower, and had a lovely mini break.
We took our own porridge pots and had those for breakfast in our bedroom which was fine, although I look forward to the restaurant re-opening as we all love a "premier inn breakfast"
We enjoyed our stay and felt very safe within the Premier Inn.
If only the members of public on the streets outside in Liverpool could respect social distancing in the same way as it was respected in the Hotel!

Stayed here for two nights while I visited with friends to celebrate their birthday. We booked all the rooms together, and were glad to find that all the rooms were on the same floor, and on the same corridor! Our other friends booked after us, but were lucky to have a room next to us too, which was brilliant. Check in was quick and easy! There were 6 of us in 4 different rooms so massive fair play to the receptionist who got us all checked in so quickly! Receptionist was great, kind and courteous with us at all times. We checked in a little after 3pm. All of our rooms were ready, apart from one which was being finished up, but we were just dumping our bags before we headed out so wasn’t a big deal for that one room! Room was spotless. No faults at all with the room! Bed was very comfortable, and the heating controls were easy to understand so was easy to regulate the temperature of the room. View was of the tesco multi storey car park, but at the prices you pay and being smack bang in the middle of the city, there is just no room to complain. The tesco next door was extremely handy to nip in and get some bits as and when was needed! Room came with a kettle, some tea bags and coffee sachets, mugs and glasses, hair dryer and the bathroom had the wall mounted hand soap, and hair and body gel. I had brought my own toiletries but used the wall mounted body gel as it was so nice! Due to covid, cleaning of rooms were by request only. Didn’t bother having towels changed or any cleaning done as I was out most of the time I was there, so there was no need for it. Security was top notch too, had to use room key card to access room floors from the lift, and to then enter the corridors so made us all feel really safe and secure. Opted for breakfast on the last day, which cost £9.95 for a cooked breakfast option. Continental breakfast was £7.95, but was included in the hot breakfast, so paying the extra £2 was better value - though after a big night out the night before, I didn’t eat a lot! What I did eat was lovely though! Eggs were cooked to perfection, perfectly runny, hash browns were great - not greasy like you find elsewhere! Plenty of cereals, fruit, pancakes, different breads and preserves to go with it, so was brilliant value for money. All in all had a faultless stay, and would definitely return! Location is ideal, less than a 5 minute walk from central station, a stone’s throw away from Liverpool One, and not far at all from key places like the Cavern Club, Albert Dock, and all the shops! Staff were all amazing. Thank you! Would definitely stay here again.

We have just had a very pleasant 2 night stay at the Hanover Street Premier Inn, located in the Ropewalks district of Liverpool city centre. The staff at reception were very friendly and offered a warm welcome. Seb (reception) and Julie (housekeeping) were exceptionally helpful.
We were on the 5th floor and it was lovely and quiet. They have a safety feature in the lift which means you can't access the floors above reception (2nd floor) without placing your key card over a sensor. The lift is floor locked without this. Our room was very spacious and clean. They supply tea and coffee making equipment and supplies, a hair drier and a 32 inch tv with freeview. The bathroom has a bath as well as a shower, and they have shampoo/soap dispensers.
There is a restaurant and bar in the hotel but we didn't use it.
The only downside was that you can't open a window. Other than that, our stay was very nice and we would highly recommend this hotel for location, price, cleanliness and it's warm welcome.

Just back from 2 day stay at this hotel. Great location, don't be put off by cracked glass on entrance and uninviting access to lifts, reception and rooms start on 2nd floor. Staff lovely and rooms clean and comfortable. Only niggle was staff encourage you to book breakfast day before. Based on numbers they decide whether to put on buffet for full breakfast or not. If not you can still order your full breakfast but this takes time, so if you were wanting any early start like ourselves this delayed us somewhat. However staff were great and responded well to our complaint. Would definately stay again, but probably not book the breakfast.

Visiting a sick family member who is in Liverpool one meant either travelling around, or staying nearby. Since this location was not unduly expensive compared to most others in the area, and it was available... I booked it.
Arrival was not entirely promising, the reception is on an upper floor, and the lobby is open to the street, with no supervision. It was clean and free of problems, however. It took my old brain a while to work out how to get upstairs, since the main access is controlled by the key card, which I had yet to be issued upon check in. The lifts will take you to the reception floor without the key, so I made it after a bit of head scratching.
A member of staff noticed me standing morosely at reception, which had some automatic check in terminals that were all non operational, and came over to help. she checked me in quickly, in a friendly and helpful manner, and I ordered breakfast at this time. I failed to enquire about wifi so I didn't have access to that, but I believe it is provided. My phone had adequate reception to use my mobile data.
Breakfast was excellent buffet affair, coffee was fantastic, much to my surprise. Staff all friendly and helpful. Not much bacon though.
I will look forward to staying again, albeit it was a utilitarian experience, but not unpleasant. Unlike most other Premier Inns I've stayed at, I was not kept awake half the night. Almost uniquely, come to think of it.
Rook was clean and comfortable, although the toilet fan was on all night. This turned out to be a good thing, if a little noisy, because it provided some ventilation to an otherwise stuffy room., since the windows were sealed.

The location for this hotel is fantastic, could not get any closer to the centre of Liverpool! Very close to concert square and Liverpool one.
However, check in is very slow and inefficient, with only one staff member working on the desk even with a long queue so check in took over half an hour. Bedrooms are quite basic and a bit dated, but the beds are comfortable enough. Could do with a mini fridge and a telephone to be able to contact reception with any issues. Only one towel for the whole of our trip and staff did not help us with this problem when we asked for another towel as we were told they didn’t have enough. They said to join the check-in queue at reception, which was again very long and slow moving, to give our room number however we did not have time for another half hour because of a dinner reservation.
Overall, the stay was good in terms of sleeping and the location however some basics like check in and availability of staff and towels in the room made for an unpleasant experience.

Myself, my husband and our children aged 6 and 5 months recently stayed at Liverpool One Premier Inn for two nights and I cannot express how impressed I was. With regards to the hotel itself it was as Premier Inns are, handy, clean and cheap however it was the staff that really made it. At Check Inn they were so very pleasant and professional. When we first got to the room we needed extra towels and the staff could not have been more helpful getting them immediately, giving us another key in order that we didn't need to switch the electricity on and off, offering us anything else we needed to assist with our stay given the young age of our baby.
A special mention has to go to Julie, Head of Housekeeping. On leaving we left the sensor pad from my babies monitor under the cot mattress, I only realised when we got home and it was very stressful. I contacted the hotel and Julie immediately called me back, located the left item and posted it straight to me off of her own back. I believe. It saved me so much hassle she really is an asset to Premier Inn.

The premier Inn in the center of the town also called Liverpool one .
Excellent place and the location is surprisingly pivotal to all the nr bye visiting tourist attractions,
Personally found this premier Inn very good value for the £s as their meal deals are very good which comprises of excellent variety's with the breakfast and evening meal this also includes two free bar drinks.
Also check normally mid week two for one deals on the bar up to 9pm.
This location is walking distance to all shopping and tourist visiting facilities...

Booked this hotel because of its location last minute as had plans to go out in that area, on arrival there were notices that both lifts were out of order and for me, this is a major problem as I am disabled with a prosthetic leg so stairs are a no go especially that amount, this was nowhere on the website when I booked as I would have chosen another hotel in the same area.
in the end, had to use a fire lift in the back of the hotel which was located through staff areas which was a short walk down the street then what felt like all around the houses to get to, we were told that this lift was not available later on and the lift was not being fixed until the next morning and if we wanted to come in late we would have to be moved to another hotel in the city, this was fine at first until they moved us to the complete opposite side of the city from where we had plans to go out, this whole ordeal took over 45 minutes to sort out in which time we were placed in the restaurant with no offer of drinks or anything, we had to keep prompting them for updates as they told us that they would book and pay for a taxi to take us as it was far away and that it was! after asking 3 times with nothing other then 'oh sorry I will book it now' each time they eventually booked the taxi to which we then had to go through the palavour of using the fire lift AGAIN with all of our luggage, I then had to pay for the taxi myself which isn't a big deal as i got a receipt and made sure to get reimbursed for. We were not discounted or offered anything to apologize for the inconvenience that the whole situation had caused on our night so overall I am very disappointed with the way this was handled. I don't know how they expect anybody who is disabled to go through the same as we did if they were planning on leaving the hotel at any point in their stay but I don't see why somebody would book a hotel in Liverpool to sit in the room but that must just be me?
so if you are disabled and are looking to book this hotel I would make sure you call up and ask them if the lifts are working as they are not capable of notifying you.

We as a family, have just returned from this excellent hotel in Liverpool. From the moment we arrived to when we left we had a great experience. The staff are extremely friendly throughout the hotel. The breakfast is great value £19 for a family of 4, kids eat free, it's buffet style. The location could not be better, seconds from Liverpool one. We will definitely be back
