This location is brilliant. Easy access to all amenities within the Albert Dock and also an easy walk into the city centre. This Premier Inn was in a converted Dock warehouse, so much character . The staff were brilliant, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for four nights
This hotel is in a great position in the Albert Dock, ideal for our stay. The staff are great and the hotel is very clean. We liked the decor at the hotel especially in the restaurant and at night it's very quiet, despite being where it is.I would recommend it.
Went down the the restaurant for an evening meal and was told by a member of staff that they were fully booked and the next availability would be for 8:15pm fair enough if the restaurant was full but there were only 5 tables being used out of over 30 tables?? Member of staff wouldn’t explain herself so asked at reception and told us that they had nothing to do with the restaurant.
Firstly, the bed was great. Missing set of towels though! But the rest was shambolic - Noise from the club underneath till 1am, contact reception - how? No number on any information in the room. Food and bar service was slower than slower; there are just not enough staff. The staff are lovely and apologise all the time. The best of the worst was the 'Take it back' joke. Order food in the bar if you can find a staff member and if they have not run out (which they did of some items on the menu). Weight 40 minutes, then you are expected to carry uncovered hot plates through the corridors to your room, put plates on floor to open doors, lift, get into room. Why no take away package. Also make sure you ask for cutlery to eat food with - its not offered! Sorry Prem Inn - great beds, but the rest - just too much cost cutting.…
Excellent hotel for the price in a good location right next to M&S Arena for concerts and also plenty of restaurants around the dock area. Easy walking to shops and museums. The staff were all extremely friendly.
We booked one night having just come from Isle of Man. Good value for money in the right location and comfortable beds. Quiet in the hotel and near lots of restaurant options. We didn’t eat here but there was the option. Room does have AC as we couldn’t open the window for this room.
Stayed here for 1 night and I am glad it was only a night. The hotel badly needs renovation. The location is amazing, but this cannot compensate for the issues and does not justify the high price as well. The location is top, the building is also wonderful from the outside. But from the inside all needs to be changes. - rooms need refurbishment - air-conditioning was not possible to be controlled and it was extremely noisy, so I had to ask to be stopped centrally. - bathroom was worn out - free wifi was with a disastrous speed.I would have accepted that in 2010, but not in 2022. - breakfast was mediocre (Continental one) Simply said, I am not going back there.
The location was amamzing, the staff were extremely friendly. Our stay was very comfortable exactly what you expect from a premier inn. Breakfast was great the next day. Hotel itself was incredible retaining lots of original features from the buildings previous life.
Great location to explore the city Staff are professional, polite, helpful and at hand if you need any advice. Room was very clean, front of the hotel can be noisy as busy outside until early morning, but still got plenty of sleep! Great stay!!
The evening staff need some customer service training! The building itself is lovely & in a fab location. The evening restaurant food left a lot to be desired however the breakfast was adequate. No sockets next to the bed was an issue when a c-pap machine is needed for the entire evening.
