Myself and my husband stayed overnight at the Holiday Inn Albert Docks. I would just like to say the place is beautiful, rooms are spotless the staff were all lovely. The breakfast was fantastic and the morning staff were lovely as well. All in all 10/10. We will be back. Thank you H Lee
A more interesting example of the Holiday Inn Express franchise, as rather than a new build, this is a thoughtful conversion of a period property, with exposed brickwork and high ceilings throughout. A great location in the Albert Docks development, so numerous shops, restaurants and bars within a few minutes stroll. We had three rooms, all of which had views of the Mersey. Usual HIE buffet breakfast, plus a late bar.
Spacious , Comfy and exceptionally clean room with great views . Every member of staff we met were friendly & helpful . We will definitely return to this hotel as great value for money . Highly recommend.
lovely place to stay in an old converted dock warehouse , staff were excellent and genuinely friendly, the room was large and overlooked the dock basin, the whole place was absolutely spotless really comfy bed , and the breakfast was excellent with a really good choice . the fire precautions were up to scratch and this place gets a 10 out of 10 for everything , yes i would love to stay here again!
We have stayed here quite a few times and never had a bad experience staff are so friendly rooms are deep cleaned everyday excellent value for money close to city centre too will definitely recommend staying
We stayed three nights mid week. The reception staff were very helpful and the breakfasts gave us plenty of choice. The room was slightly small and only had one chair. We were staying for tourism and the location was excellent for the docks, the Beatles tour and the museums.
I stayed at this hotel previously in cold weather (March 2018) and wrote a positive review - great position, spacious rooms, room views, quiet etc. But we made the mistake of staying here again last summer. The lack of air conditioning made the rooms stifling, especially as you can’t open the windows more than a few inches. The fans were useless. Hotel management says it can’t put in air conditioning because it’s a heritage building. This is nonsense. There are many listed buildings which are air conditioned - the East India Club in London is one; or just about any 19th century building in Australia. In this Tripadvisor’s view, you’d be unwise to stay here anytime between May and September.
Much better than we expected. Four adults on a tourist trip to Liverpool. Booked a cheap deal and very pleasantly surprised. Room had everything we needed, 1 twin 1 double, very comfy bed very clean. We really enjoyed the breakfasts a great selection and the staff and bar were helpful and friendly. It’s a bit of a walk into the centre but a cab is only £5 to return. I’d def use again.
We’ve just returned from a 2 night stay which was booked through sportsbreaks.com and would highly recommend this hotel. From arrival at the hotel the staff were excellent and really friendly and check in was very quick and easy. Special mention to the man on reception who wore glasses (sorry didn’t get his name!) was especially helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was in an excellent location with plenty of great bars and restaurants nearby. The rooms were very clean and warm with lots of original features but with modern facilities. There was plenty to pick from at breakfast, all nicely cooked and hot. Would definitely stop here again!
Well done again to this hotel and staff. From the moment we arrived to the drop off of the key card we were always greeted by friendly faces. Our room was amazing with views into Royal Albert Dock and onwards into the city. The direct entrance onto the dock is a great bonus. The room was beautifully clean and the beds were so comfy. Breakfast isn't the best but adequate with bacon, Cumberland sausage, scrambled egg and baked beans. They prepared some vegetarian sausages for us too. Fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, toast. Enough choices for most. And again the staff were so friendly and chatty. We wished we had booked an extra night. We'd recommend without hesitation and we can't wait to stay again.
