Lovely weekend stay for myself and my son celebrating his turning of 18 In the city. Great price and location with very reasonable taxi fares to and from the centre. The lovely hosts make it for me, personable and considerate and made us feel very welcome. Our room was just what we needed, warm and clean and very quiet and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Thank you 😃

2 night stay with family &friends. Welcomed by David who was brilliant, felt at ease immediately with his banter. Room was a good standard, with both bath & shower. Breakfast had plenty of choice & was included in the price. Bus into centre took 10-15 minutes. Recommend to anyone visiting Liverpool

We stayed for two days whilst visiting our Grandson. We received a very friendly welcome from Michelle who told us everything we needed to know including local buses etc. Also some history of the old dairy which was fascinating. Our room and bathroom was very clean I was worried that it wouldn’t be warm enough as it was very cold outside however I needn’t have worried as the accommodation was warm and cosy . Private parking was available but we left our car in the street and all was well. The local bus got us into the city centre in minutes and the bus stop was minutes away. Surprised to be offered a continental breakfast in a communal dining room there was a large choice available and once again all kept scrupulous clean and the variety on offer would match any hotel breakfast. The city was a fabulous place to visit and we only saw a little of what it had to offer.

Well what can I say, aside from if you're visiting Liverpool, stay here. I certainly will be next time I visit. My friend and I booked a twin room for a long weekend as we were running the Liverpool rock and roll 5K and marathon. The location was perfect, not far from town, 10 minutes bus or taxi, so easy to get there for the 2 races. In a quiet area which ensured a good nights sleep. So that's the location. The accommodation itself. Absolutely spotless. The beds; I'm a chronic insomniac and had 3 really good nights sleep in a very comfy bed. The breakfasts, lovely, and just what I needed pre race and the morning after a marathon. We had use of the kitchen. How often do you get that! Was great when we were trying to work out how to open a bottle of wine via you tube videos and my friend realised there was probably a cork screw in the kitchen! The pleasant patio area,a nice place to chat and meet other guests (and for me to have a cigarette) We made friends with other guests that weekend who were also running, having been introduced to eachother by our hosts, and shared taxis and pre race nerves. Which brings me on to our hosts Michelle and David. What a lovely couple. After just a weekend, they were friends I didnt want to say goodbye to. We were supposed to arrive at 3 on the Friday, but with delays didnt get there til 7.30. No probs, they welcomed us with open arms. Over the whole weekend they shared our nerves, reassured and supported us, made sure we were sorted for transport and other things, they even messaged to check on our progress and if we'd finished our marathon and were ok. I have never had any hosts take that much of an interest in any place I have stayed over the years. I enjoy writing poetry and as a distraction to the marathon I'd set myself, wrote a few pieces over the weekend which I read out to them over breakfasts and they enjoyed. Had to write one for them, which sums up our stay. We really did feel like family. To our lovely hosts Michelle and David, Oh what can we say! A lovely friendly couple, Who really made our stay. But your property The Old Dairy, Is much more than a B and B. It really is a home from home, When Liverpool people come to see. The use of the downstairs kitchen, Really is an added perk. It helped Ceri out no end, When she needed to pull a cork! The quietness of the area, Is great when you need sleep. Because you've done something stupid, And taken on quite a feat. The place is absolutely spotless, And very friendly too. It's nice to sit on the terrace, Sharing points of view. Thanks for your support this weekend, It really meant so much. You really do go above and beyond, Please do keep in touch. My only regret of the weekend, we never got a picture with the two of you. We'll sort that out on our next weekend. Thank you so much for a lovely stay, and making sure we had nothing to worry about apart from the races we were running. See you soon x But The Old Dairy rates superbly, Because of you lovely two. Have no doubt when we get home, We'll be leaving a great review. We shall definitely be returning, With no races we have to run. Instead we'll be concentrating, On simply having fun. I have one regret from my weekend stay at the old dairy, and that's that I didnt get a selfie with my friend, michelle and david. They really made our weekend. That I you x

Oh what can we say about this review?? The peom will be framed and displayed in our reception , thank you so much. From our point of view, we just want to ensure that all of our guests have an enjoyable and comfortable stay here, and if David can get away with his 'bad jokes' then all the better ...lol! I was an ablsolute pleasure on our behalf, to have you 2 stay with us. Until next year ... i better get training ! # Please book direct via our own site as it helps us small businesses survive as 3rd party sellers take huge commissions ##
