The hotel is very comfortable. The service and food is excellent. It is exactly 0.9 miles from Windermere and the same from Bo'ness and on the steep side of a hill, so walking involves quite a lot of 'up'.
My two girlfriends and I enjoyed an overnight stay here. We had been forewarned that the spa facilities were unavailable but this did not stop us from enjoying a luxurious, indulgent stay. Everything was perfect from our lovely scented entrance, our cream tea with warm...More

Hi, we didn't pay any extra to use them. I believe they are free for all guests. I looked at the hotel on a few different websites and there was no mention of a charge. We were also told by reception we could use the pool even before checking in if we wanted to. I don't think you would get a spa package as such as it's just a pool and a sauna. They don't do treatments- or not what I know of.
