Not the best hotel.
Parking is first come first served and you cannot reserve a space, so invariably guests arriving are told to park in the train station car park until someone with a space checks out.
Caters for elderly guests which is fine but...More

Very nice stay at Windermere Hotel.
Rooms very nice and staff polite and helpful. Location is good as close to near by village. Bowness is just a couple of miles away. Will recommend to a friend who is staying early next year.

There is parking area in area front of hotel - we reserved space at around £3 daily - supermarket/train station opposite hotel with large Lakeland outlet next to station. - and short walk into town centre full of shops.
