Stayed during the C2C cycling ride. Very friendly host Dawn who provided a secure location for the bike overnight. Room was warm and en-suite shower provided lots of hot water to clean up. Full English breakfast was freshly cooked and excellent. Good location to walk into town for an evening meal or drink.

This amazing privately run B&B was just what we were looking for. Not the run of the mill "same old" but a unique blend of the proud owners own blend of tasteful decor that shows a great deal of thought down to the smallest detail. Very comfy bed, great ensuit, friendly hospitality with a great wholesome breakfast finished off a most enjoyable stay! Thank you!

I loved my stay at the Crosby Bed & Breakfast from start to finish. Our room was perfect with everything that you would need. Tea coffee and shortbread. The attention to detail is what really makes this place special. Everything from the bath soaps to the little bowl of blueberries with your morning yogurt. It was like home from home but better....thank you

Stayed overnight at the start of a 4 day Lakes and Dales Loop cycle with friends. The place is spotless and comfortable and the breakfast absolutely excellent. Dawn, the host is first class - friendly and so helpful. She kept a bag for us for a few days, made us a pot of tea and chatted to us on our return. Cannot fault this place, highly recommend and would definitely return.

We stopped at Crosby on the way to Edinburgh and on the way back. We have stopped in many B&Bs over the years and Crosby is one of the best. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast was a perfect 10 - obviously using high quality ingredients and catering for all tastes. Above all, the host was very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

Very welcoming. Lovely room, with a comfortable bed and the bathroom actually had a bath with a bottle of Radox. Nice! Breakfast was well cooked. Good fresh bread for toast. The location was convenient for Penrith centre.

We stayed in room 3 which was exceptionally comfortable, beautifully appointed and made for a really lovely overnight stay. The full English breakfast was delicious, served in a very attractive dining room with a great supply of books. We actually changed our walking plans having perused a book about the best lake district tarns and set off on a walk from Patterdale encompassing a couple of wainwrights and a swim in Angle tarn which was both exhilarating and beautiful. We would definitely choose Crosby B&B when next in the area.
