The hotel was set in stunning Lakeland landscape, comfortable rooms, delicious farm fresh breakfasts, and warm friendly host. Set a few Km from Keswick but easily reachable for evening meals, farmers markets etc What more could you ask for?

Lovely place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Stunning lakeside views. A lake view room is highly recommended. In need of a little tlc in a few places but didn't distract from the homely charm. Friendly welcome. Clean room tasty breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay

Are the rooms dog friendly?
Hi Alex, Sadly we do not accept dogs in the hotel. However, we do have some self-catering apartments that are dog friendly located in the building adjacent to the hotel. If you book one of these you can still use the restaurant in the hotel should you wish. Hope this answers your question. Kind Regards Marie

Hey folks Is there any mountains in Keswick to climb? If not what's the best place in lake dis to climb one? Cheers for the help you will give me to follow my Adventure into this.
Sorry for the delay, can't really tell you, don't like climbing in the mountains. You might ring Phillip the owner of the hotel. Good luck

The forest walk is in no state to walk on, in parts it is dangerous, the so caled 3 stare hotel is only a B&B AND THE DISMAL BAR prices are well over the top.
When U.S. it open
We are open all year round with the exception of January.
