This is a beautiful hotel situated in the center of Bibury overlooking the River Coln. I had a very flavorful vegetarian pie with white cheese gravy and it was great. I would totally recommend to try out this place if you are visiting Birbury.

Visited Bibury today and decided to have a spot of lunch whilst we were out. My husband had the burger, which he said was very nice. I had the Cotswold ale battered fish and chips, tartare sauce, mushy peas. Very disappointed. The fish was ok, but did make me think it was like a

Jill, Thank you for sharing your experience with us and I am sorry to hear we didnt get part of your experience with us right on this occasion. I hope that from your husbands experience you can see that we are more than capable of producing good food and I will certainly be discussing your fish and chips with the kitchen team. We use our local ale to make our beer batter and rest assured we only use fresh pollock or cod. The chips are hand cup chunky chips and apologies if they were overcooked, certainly not to our usual standard. Really sorry we didnt get the opportunity to sort things out for you on the day. We would have been only too happy to. Hope we might get the opportunity to impress you on a future visit. Best Simon and the team

How's the traffic from Heathrow Airport to Bibury if I hire a car on a Monday afternoon at 1400?
The traffic is good if you do not drive on Friday evening to Bibury. It just any big city on Friday evening that most of people will go out of city to country for weekend. If you like to drive, I am sure you will enjoy driving in U.K. You can find a data sim card at LHR , put in your mobile and use Google Map without paying an extra charge of GPS from car rental company.
