A short break for two, this was a lovely place to stay. Rye has some wonderful places to eat and get about to. Huge beaches not far away either. The room was large with a huge bathroom, all clean and well equipped.

Very charming hotel in historic part of Rye with nice rooms. Not uber fancy but smart enough with comfortable beds. Breakfast delicious and dinner also very good. We stayed for 2 nights for a wedding so didn't actually spend a lot of time in the hotel aside from sleep and breakfast. Parking is a pain but they are upfront about this. There is almost no chance you can get close to entrance to park to drop bags but the large car park isn't too far away. It's not a destination hotel as aside from eating and sleeping there isn't much to do. Rye itself is pretty but again, not a huge amount to do aside from pottering around. Stayed with 2 children and beds set up for them and sufficient at breakfast to feed them. Not really designed to appeal to families however, much more a romantic short break or leisurely weekend.

Room Tip: Ask for a room further away from the bar area. Getting to all rooms requires a few steps so not...

We stayed for four nights, we had a en-suite bedroom in the gardens at the back and it was a good size, and beautifully decorated. They had a good choice menu for breakfast and evening meals, and everyone was very helpful and obliging.
