Stayed here for 1 night as wanted to make the most of the last couple of days of "staycation". This place was absolutely lovely. We stayed in cottage 3 (me, husband and 4 year old). There was an extremely large main bed, and the room was designed in such a way, that there is an alcove where the other single bed is. This bed has another mattress under it. I don't know if this makes the bed a double, or creates another single. Room was clean, bathroom clean and all the main little things you need. We had dinner here and it was delicious. We had a starter and main, and couldn't finish as the portions were so good. Breakfast was great too. Both of us had the eggs benedict. Absolutely delicious and fresh. Would definitely stay here again when we next come this way.

Popped out to the kings Head for lunch. Sat in the beautiful sun terraced garden. Fantastic, quaint space in a stunning setting of plants and a wisteria arch. The staff are super friendly, the home cooked food was amazing and generously portioned, the atmosphere had a lovely - no rush feel to it! Do yourselves a favour during this staycation time and visit her, eat here, drink here, stay here…..you won’t regret you did, but you might just regret you didn’t !!!!!!

You can be sure of a very warm welcome from Lisa and Steve and their friendly staff. It’s so lovely to see that the staff really enjoyed their jobs and to see how well supported they are by their bosses. As such you could see that the staff were prepared to go the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our stay! The room we stayed in (Champagne room) was spacious and had everything we needed. Everything was very clean and the bed was comfy. The next morning our breakfast was very tasty with meat sourced locally. This was our first visit and we will definitely be returning soon. Thank you again to Lisa and Steve and all the staff at the Kings Head Inn xxx
