Good experience. Really easy to find and on a lovely convenient road. Parking is a bit tricky. Check in was great and easy. Hotel reception and area is super clean and easy. Staff really friendly. Bit strange not to have family rooms on the ground floor especially without a lift (it appeared there was one but maybe out of service). My wife was heavily pregnant and had to walk up the stairs etc - not the end of the world but not ideal. Corridors are dingy to be honest. Not very bright and welcoming. We got huge smells of marijuana along the corridors. The room is nice and clean and spacious. Nice personal touch in the room. Bathroom is ok. Not outstanding but nothing bad just a normal bathroom. Would we return? Maybe but probably not for the price we paid.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments. we are glad to hear you enjoyed your time at the orchid. I could not agree with you more about the family rooms being on the first floor its always one of my thoughts when the hotel was built. However we do have a lift and we have family interconnecting rooms on the ground floor. The corridor's as well have sensor lights when you walk down them so can appear dark before movement is detected. we wish you both the best of luck for the safe arrival of your baby.

Stayed at the hotel for a night away near the beach. Everything was very lovely, the hotel decor & facilities are great. The bed is very comfy, tea & coffee making facilities in the room too!. We ate at the onsite restaurant which served an exquisite menu. The pea soup was incredible as were the desserts! The hotel is a 5 min walk from the seafront and with onsite parking it's a great place to explore Bournemouth. Would highly recommend! Thank you for a lovely stay!
