Nice hotel on booking in , room was good size and off to the beach we went , on our return the pool was used this was at 2pm , no sunshine on the pool because of next door hotel trees so it was cold but refreshing. The hotel room has no air con and gets hotter than the surface of the moon . I tried running a bath but no hot water from the hot tap and the cold tap was unusable it wouldn’t turn . We tried to change room but that was not as good size so we stayed in the first one and melted for a while. So apart from melting ,unable to have a bath and oh yes the nail sticking through the carpet in front of the tv , the room was , I can’t say it !!!! I stayed in a Marriott last week and had a poor experience and now this one . Is there a brand that looks after their properties and give a value product, might appear not . Might try B&B is this going to be more caring and better liked after , answers on a postcard and I’ll let you know . Burley Court you should be embarrassed.

Room was nothing like photos, very dated and in desperate need of modernising. It absolutely stank of old urine all around the double bed. Night manager agreed but gave us a cheap strong air freshener which made us feel even more sick. No other rooms available. No rooms anywhere else in town due to bank holiday and lateness of our search to find new accommodation. Next day the manager denied any knowledge and refused to help saying it’s up to booking .com. I understand he also lied to them about the problem. We fought and received a goodwill gesture of part- refund. Worst dump we’ve ever stayed in.

I stayed here for one night in December. Well the shower is tiny and had literally no space to move and no power just a dribble of water. Tiny space near sink to wash etc. The floorboards creaked terribly everywhere you stepped. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and very very cheap. Just don't ever stay here! Definately will not be returning.

Stayed for one night with friends. I was a little dubious after reading some negative reviews but we had a nice comfortable stay. Yes, the hotel is dated; it definitely needs to be freshened up. The location is excellent and the staff were friendly. The room was comfortable but it wasn’t the cleanest room. Not awful but not clean. There were some dirty drip marks on the bathroom floor and the bathroom especially needs some work. But, for the price and the location it was worth the money. I would stay here again.

After reading previous reviews prior to our visit on Saturday 19th Sept I was prepared for a disappointing stay! I can say that my room was clean the hotel looked clean, the staff where very helpful and the breakfast was great! As long as you remember this is a budget hotel you'll be fine. The lady taking our breakfast order was very friendly and helpful and all in all the location, cleanliness and cost was great. Would certainly return.
