Hotel's Favourite
We spent a lovely few days here at the end of September. Weather was great for most of the time. We always enjoy Sands as they make you very welcome and take care of you! It is an extremely well organised business. Staff very helpful and friendly. Mealtimes well organised and plenty of choice! As for the evening entertainment! Well it was superb. Quizzes, bingo and entertainment every night! We look forward to returning real soon.

We had a very pleasant holiday. Including some interesting visits to various places and the good weather was a bonus We would like to go on other Danishes such as visiting Eastbourne and other areas but they are only for 5 days which is not long enough for a holiday when traveling from the North. We would prefer to go for 7 8 days As we would like to visit Eastbourne/ Brighton but due to the distance 5 days is not long enough

We do like the sands but now dear Richard the manager and Daniel duty manager have now left the company it is not the same in the sands . They did make this hotel one of the very best we must say The pair of them put there self's out of the way to make us and the customers welcome We do think that Jane the manager of Daishs was or should of been ,very of them she has lost very good workers Restrant staff are good and polite

As a fan of Daish's holidays I like to give honest reviews. Booked 2 single rooms on this Rare 7 day Daish's holiday. Pity not more available to other destinations. My 1st visit to The Sands Hotel. Luckily enough the single rooms were large and contained a double bed each of which were comfortable.. Although the rooms could do with an refurbishment upgrade the standard for the cost was acceptable. My shower room was refurbished. Only gripe was creaky floorboards. A fan was in the room to cool down. For those who complain in other reviews about lack of Aircon and room quality there's a chain hotel close by pay at least double for room only then you will get it. Or there's another hotel just down the road. Which doesn't look appealing at all assuming No Aircon no meals advertising double rooms @ £100 per night. So stop moaning. The meals were excellent quality and choice with home cooking not boil in the bag etc as other reviewers state. So compliments to the chef and Kitchen staff. Also to Krystoff an excellent and efficient waiter. He also made sure any alterations for dietary requirements were adhered too. All staff friendly and efficient. Would visit again. Resort is bustling and modern. Beaches are spacious and clean with golden sand. Buses close by for transportation or a stroll to centre if required.
