Great value for money really, I wouldn’t stay here more than a few nights I think but the bed was rather comfy, pillows comfy enough. Staff were quick to provide a fan when we requested one, and to top it off we had a balcony which was nice since I wanted a vape, which was allowed. It is a little dated but for the money you pay for a night, given its location you can’t really complain.

The hotel was like a third world hotel the rooms were filthy the staff are rude I was in a room for 5 days after I had a stroke I need a holiday so somebody said we'll book this hotel because it was cheap and it look good no toilet paper no room service to clean the rooms no dustbin in the rooms the bath was absolutely disgusting the swimming pool was closed the back garden was full within 2 bottles and cans and cigarette ings and they call it the kings garden a joke my whole 7-days experience was a nightmare I couldn't wait to get away the restaurant was fully booked by coaches that come in every night so you couldn't get anything to eat day or night you had to go straight into pool before you could get a decent meal and of course I am on tablets so I need to eat before I take the tablets my experience of this hotel was absolutely appalling it was one of the dirtiest hotels I've ever been in. I will give it no points I did phone up to complai.put was given an email that don't exist. If anyone is thinking about having a holiday in this hotel so long stay my advice to you you is not too. They don't even tell you you you have to come to the service counter to get your toilet paper to get your towels towels and the tales were so small you could just about wipe a baby in them. There is no wiping cloths disaffected wiping cloths that you can wipe the room down with there is no hand sanitation to wash your hands in the room . Not enough of sockets in the room we had to put the big kettle right next to the television to boil it to make a cup of tea so dangerous electric and water doesn't go together so anybody has got the right address so I can complain direct to the company I would be very grateful if they would send it to me as I continue to look for it

I stayed at the carrington house hotel on the 13th-14th June and it was really really good there was a slight queue at check in but wasn’t very long to wait my room which was room 146 was really clean with comfy bedding and a cosy warm duvet and the bathroom was clean as well I had a good sleep in the bed as the bedding was really comfy the bar was good and well priced and the service was good I said I had a good sleep but I got up at about 5:30am to use the bathroom and I was sick so went back to bed but couldn’t sleep as my head was pounding and my stomach still felt unsettled but overall I had a good stay and will stay again

Stayed for 4 nights. Hotel was clean and the staff were very attentive. Special mention to Claudia on reception and Igor and Eva at the bar. It was explained that the staff would not be able to clean the room before we left. But if we needed any extra toiletries, towels, tea, coffee and milk, then to ask at reception and whatever we needed was supplied. The only real criticism I have is the parking was atrocious but this is the same for all hotels. When you think of the amount of money this town makes from tourism it would make sense to have a park and ride scheme or something similar. I would recommend thus hotel. It is a no frills hotel and good value for money. Shame pool was not open.

This hotel is very tired and dated. There is odd mismatched carpet through all of the corridors and stairs, all very tired and stained. I tried on numerous occasions to contact the hotel by email, telephone, via booking.com but never got through or received a reply. The room was very tired, bathroom ceiling had damp and mould patches and only 1 towel provided for 2 guests. The positives - the bed was comfy, the location is okay, the staff at the front desk were lovely even with all of the complaints they were receiving (whilst checking in, 2 guests complained that their room didn't have any windows & they were informed by maintenance staff that 2 entire floors had an issue causing them to be without electricity!) Overall I would not stay at this hotel again.
