Nice hotel, the staff were very attentive and helpful. Lovely 3 course meal and good drinks and cocktails available, a little pricey as you would expect. Room was nice, had a good view and had everything you need. Only downside was the non-existentant wifi, although I wasn't

The rooms are very average with no safe or refrigerator and small beds, the restaurant service was very poor and the cleaners are very loud in the mornings (crashing, banging and laughing outside the room at 7.30am) etc., however the small bar was well staffed and the drinks and

Arrived on afternoon of 15/3/19 to hopefully enjoy an overnight stay with breakfast which was purchased as a Christmas gift from our daughter. This gift also included a 3 course dinner, cream tea and a bottle of wine. We can only applaud the staff at this hotel, very helpful,

Stayed here for a night to be near friends. They charged me for the dog on top but didn’t let me in for breakfast with her. I don’t leave her in the car and thought a strange room wasn’t a very nice place to leave her. The guy lied at the breakfast room and said she couldn’t

Hello there, do you do any hen packages?
Not too sure about hen nights as the hotel is in a very quiet area surrounded by a large residential area.

hi . we were brought an overnight stay for tomorrow.do u have to dress up for evening meals
apologies I have only just seen your message. I am not sure what you mean by dress up as everybody has different standards. You don't have to wear black tie but as you are going for dinner a normal standard of dress would be expected trousers, shirt and shoes minimum for the gentleman and dress or smart trousers for a lady. It seems a bit of an odd question unless you are not used to dining out. I hope that helps.

Ive booked through hotel voucher shop and it says Double Basic. What is that going to be exactly? Thank you
Staff don’t care about you, they’re rude and the rooms are very small, not modern either, window sizes are small also so you feel trapped, all of the hotel is a tight squeeze

Will the pool be open in June and is it heated?
Hi Kay C, Yes our out door pool is heated during summer months, as the pool is subject to out door temperatures, night time lows does have an impact. Sean Nell

Does it have an indoor pool? And is it free?
The Cumberland hotel has an outdoor pool. However the hotel shares facilities with the Suncliffe hotel, that does have an indoor pool. In fact the facilities across the 3 hotels are very good.
