I was surprised by my partner with a weekend away at Oceana and two treatments. Daisy carried out both of my treatments..she was really chatty and put me at ease immediately. I have been fortunate to have many massages over the years,in various Spa’s,hotels and countries. I have to say this was definitely the best one by far!!!.. amazing technique, perfect pressure. I will be back again!!.. Thank you Daisy.. I’m Super relaxed…😎

Having been made aware of the parking charge on check in but NEVER being asked to make a separate payment, despite being told on checkout I had nothing to settle - I have just paid a £100 parking fine

After reading thre positive reviews was like we had stayed in a hotel in parallel universe First impression on arrival were good, pleasant polite staff nice looking bar area. After a quick check in went to our room 128. The room was an ok size but as we opened the door the heat in the room hit you, yes it was sunny and 22c out but then room was like an oven. Appreciate is an old building so no air on. Then the decor was a throwback to the 90s, thought we had walked into my Aunties old bedroom that was trying to be chic then but wasn’t and certainly isn’t now. The drawers on the furniture kept sticking or coming off runners and the curtains were hanging off were they net when pulled Same for the bathroom dated and uninviting. Also no fridge to put water in to cool you down in night. As was only a bed for 2 nights could cope with the that but the noise intrusion at night from the room above and adjacent was so intrusive When people walked across the floor in the room above all you heard was creaking, great for an alarm call at 5 am when they got up and every time the room next door closed their bathroom door our adjoining wall would shake and our full lunchtime mirror on our wall would vibrate sounding like a tortured soul (probably a previous guest who could not sleep) While there for our two nights we also saw & heard 3 other gas complaining about similar issues The staff were very polite when dealing with this but you can clearly see this is not a new issue and have dealt with this many times before

This was last minute booking as our original hotel cancelled at last minute. We paid a high price but this was reflective of it being bank holiday weekend and literally one of the last available rooms in Bournemouth! Agree that hotel tired looking and needs refurb - that being said staff were great - friendly and helpful . Definitely an asset in an otherwise average hotel . Not sure if I would stay again - perhaps during cheaper season as not value for money.

We've just got back from a 2 night stay at the Ocean Beach Hotel & Spa in Bournemouth. Probably the best UK trip away in a long time! The hotel location was fab, the rooms were lovely and the hotel facilities were amazing. The biggest call out were the staff - I have never experienced such AMAZING service in the UK before. We received VIP treatment through the 3 days we were there - Mark with our day time coffees, Desmond with our evening drinks and the hotel manager Maroush was amazing amazing and couldn't have treated us any better. I would highly recommend this hotel or any of the Ocean chains - we will absolutely be booking to go back. And already have 5 families who will book the same hotel after sharing our feedback. Definitely book their Sunday roast next door at the suncliffe - we really enjoyed it. Don't think twice - you will love it!! Thank you to all the staff at Ocean beach - you made our holiday so worthwhile. See you again soon
