Worst hotel experience I've had. As soon as I got there the receptionist was rude and whispering to her colleague while checking me in. I was given my room key and told "it's on the first floor". The first floor is an absolute maze with no signs so I spent 5 minutes wondering around looking for my room. The hallways were uncomfortably warm however when I got to my room it was freezing cold. The room was outdated with a radiator that was rusty and didn't work, the bed was rock solid and the walls were filthy. The bathroom looked clean enough but I didn't really use it, thankfully only staying for one night. I spent the evening in Bournemouth and when I returned to the hotel, the front door was locked. I rang the door bell and no body answered, I rang again and again and after roughly 10 minutes someone came to open the door. I got up to my room and my key card didn't work, so went back down to reception. While I was there another guest was ringing the doorbell to get in, with no one answering, I found the same guy that opened the door to me in one of the rooms just off from reception, he told me my key card didn't work because I had been on the phone but he tapped around on his computer and said it should work. I eventually got in my room and had the worst nights sleep due to the very uncomfortable bed. I got up in the morning, got dressed and left, thankful for contactless check out. The staff are rude, the rooms are awful and the whole experience was just dire.

I just wanted to praise Heathlands Hotel.Grove Road, Eastcliffe. Bournemouth. I stayed there for 2 nights 8th and 9th March 2024 for a UK Breakaways Tribute Acts. The acts were George Michael and Diana Ross. George Michael was ok but he said the B word a few times and I did not appreciate it. Diana Ross was brilliant. Complete praise goes to Her. I was in a single room 124 it was fine but I would have preferred a walk in shower but did not get one. The television only had about 6 channels that worked. However I love the hotel. It was buffet for all meals and they were excellent. They had their own dance area with a stage and a lovely bar. All the staff there were really lovely. My praise to the Heathlands Hotel.

For the money that we paid the hotel is fine. Not sure what was ordered at the bar by previous review but we had a 2 for 1 voucher on a selection of house drinks which made them very reasonable. Food was fine, not cordon bleu, but perfectly fine. Only one member of staff was unpleasant everyone else was very courteous. The room I had was clean and comfortable. I sometimes think people have a very unrealistic view of what they can get for their money.

Rooms are very warm, comfortable beds. Pressure of water from shower is ok. Kettle in the room and tea/coffee provided. Food in restaurant is good for this type of establishment but staff are rude and not very friendly. Can only do what they say and not very helpful. Receptionist was much friendlier! All acts provided by RSC were brilliant and had a great time Line Dancing!

The staff were extremely rude. The room was absolutely disgusting, there was even blood on the towels. I have emailed a complaint twice and they still haven’t responded. We wasn’t meant to be staying in this hotel we was moved there by their sister hotel as they was under unexpected maintenance

Went for Tribute Break with UK Breakaways.... Charged £3 for a can of coke at the bar flabbergasted!!....Plus even though supposed to be 2fo1 on HOUSE spirits....these were also charged at £4.60 each...( before the offer) ...( Branded names even more expensive and NOT included in the offer) which I thought was on the high side also for what they actually were!... Also was scaffolding all around the Hotel and filled Skips outside on arrival, which we were not made aware of prior to our stay by the Company...! Won't rush to go back there in a hurry

I've stayed at around 50 Bournemouth hotels and this is the worst. 3 night stay booked, Moved rooms twice then decided to leave after one night which I've never done. Building is falling apart, sooo noisy and the main thing at this time of year....no heating! I was freezing! Don't stay here stay anywhere else!

We had trouble parking as the car park was full, so I took our luggage inside and my husband took the car home (5 miles) and returned on the bus. I was given a dry towel as the rain was torrential and I was soaked. This was much appreciated. We expected a room, but got a suite, with loads of storage, iron, hairdryer, bath and shower, comfy bed. After a nice dinner we watched the Tom Jones Tribute Night, which was amazing. Unfortunately my husband was unwell overnight, so we cut our stay short, but again, the reception staff were lovely, offering coffee as we’d said no thanks to breakfast, a taxi was called and we promised to return soon, and hopefully there will be a Dolly Parton show which we sadly missed. Thanks again to all the staff, you’re doing a grand job.
