When it comes to epic locations and dramatic seafront views, nothing gets much better than the Bournemouth Carlton, Best Western Signature Collection. We’re right in the heart of town, so when you can tear your eyes away from the beautiful view or tear yourself away from the stretch of golden beach, then we’re also walking distance to the town centre, to popular attractions such as Bournemouth Oceanarium, BH2 Leisure Complex and Bournemouth International Centre – a hotspot for major conferences and exhibitions.
Great location, Wonderful staff, Lovely atmosphere, good food and drink, excellent facilities. We have stayed approx between 25 - 30 nights this year so far and have 2 more weekends booked before the end of the year. We wouldn't consider staying at any other Hotel in Bournemouth.

My wife and I had a weekend here including dinner one evening. As soon as we arrived at check-in the welcome we got from Joey at reception was lovely and immediately made us feel relaxed and looking forward to our stay. She is so cheerful, helpful and always smiling. Location is good. Only a 10-minute walk to the pier and in a quiet seafront spot with nice views. Our sea-view room was superb. Huge comfortable bed and a stunning view. One afternoon we just sat on the sofa reading and enjoying watching the waves. Dinner in the restaurant on Saturday night was excellent. They clearly have a talented chef. And the service was outstanding too. I would eat at this restaurant even if I wasn't staying at the hotel. Breakfast was great too. It was a buffet with plenty of choice, hot and…

The hotel was warm and inviting with our room being of a good size (not the pokey rooms of usual). It overlooks the sea and just under a mile from the town centre, which has good walking access. The staff on arrival were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was a buffet and plentiful, ranging from a cook breakfast to fruit, cereals and pastries - all warm and fresh. It was a pleasure to stay. Thank you

Just returned from a long weekend break, absolutely wonderful weekend, the staff are very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely room with a balcony and sea view which was amazing. We booked bed and breakfast which was perfect for us, breakfast was delicious, a wide selection of continental and traditional English foods available. We used the swimming pool, sauna etc. Which was very relaxing, the staff were really welcoming and knowledgeable. We will definitely return to this hotel and thank the staff for making our stay just perfect.

Website claims private parking but you don'thave to be a hotel guest to use it. Cost is £20 for 24 hours which is really expensive and if you leave during that time there is no guarantee that you will get a space when you return! Reception staff were Ill informed. My sister and I were told our rooms were next to each other as my sister is disabled and needs help. Numerically they were next to each other but in reality they were in completely different parts of the hotel and the disabled room was furthest from all the facilities which is not disabled friendly. Most of the rooms don't have air-conditioning or fans. If you do have a fan there are no sockets by the bed so you would get no benefit as you have to plug it in too far away. Decor is also extremely tired. The only 2…

There was 5 of us in 3 rooms. This was our second visit- we previously stayed last October. We got a fabulous deal from Great Little Breaks to stay. Our rooms were not as nice as last year- ground floor and a view of the car park. But the staff were lovely and very helpful. The food was nice. Public areas were great. Our room was ok but the bathroom was very old and tatty. Unfortunately, the heating in the room does not come on till 6pm and prior to that it was freezing. We got back to our room at 4pm having gotten soaked- we were cold and wet. The room and bathroom were freezing so we couldn’t have a shower- too cold and small cold towels. No hand held shower attachment so I couldn’t wash my hair either ( unless I had a shower) which upset me as was going out that night to…

Arrived at our favourite hotel to discover the concert had been cancelled! Then hubby became unwell! Fortunately we had booked our favourite sea view room so spent most of the time in our room admiring the view and the good weather
