Run down hotel. On arrival at had no toilet paper in our room. The wallpaper was peeling and marked. The toilet was loose and would lean to the side when sat on, the same with the stool and chair. The radiator was also loose. The toilet was also vile and staind. Don't expect the t.v. to work either. For £100 a night I expected more. The only saving grace is the location it's less than 5 minutes to town and the beach.

The hotel has offered convenient rates considering it was Easter time, yet it was really strange experience. The most unpleasant experience was right at the beginning. We have entered in the lobby and stayed there waiting for some receptionist. The reception was opened, we could easily take anything from there if we'd like to. Somebody came after almost 10 minutes waiting. I am really happy for not providing our ID details to their system (they just eye-checked them), otherwise I would not be actually assured about the security of storing them.

Myself and my partner booked a double room for one night on Saturday 7th October 2017. We stayed in room 307. We came to Bournemouth to run the Supersonic 10k event which started at 4pm. We were disappointed with the room for the following reasons: 1. The bathroom had hairs (not ours!) on the tiles near the toilet and next to the sink. 2. The mirror in the bathroom was cracked and hanging off the wall. 3. The bathroom door would not shut at the bottom – looked like it had been kicked in. 4. The bathroom tiles were cracked in many places. 5. The paintwork in the bedroom was messy, scratched and marked. 6. Even the room key number was peeling off the key. 7. Also the lift door did not shut when the lift was in use – surely a health and safety issue? 8. The double bed had no valance on the base of the bed. 9. The heated towel rail in the bathroom was held on by gaffer tape. 10. The water pressure was extremely slow – took 40 minutes to run a bath! As we had to literally race off to complete our 10k event we didn’t have time to complain and change our room. We paid £90 for this room and I feel the standard of cleanliness and general upkeep of the property was extremely poor. However I must say, on a positive note the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I wanted to give my opinion of the room the following day but reception was closed! I have e.mailed the Hotel 3 times, with no reply for their comments.. Would not recommend.

I'd stayed here before some years ago and knew the location was convenient. However, the hotel was a lot more run down than I remembered. The room was on the fourth floor (the lift only goes up to the third floor) and was tiny, with barely room to put down suitcases. The furniture was old, cheap, chipped, and disintegrating. One of the bathroom towels had a hole in it. The shampoo-gel dispenser in the shower was empty. The breakfast was basic but acceptable, and the staff looked as if they were doing their best. I wouldn't book again, despite the convenience of the location.

Had a nice time with 2 friends for a over night stay. The hotel was able to accommodate three single beds for three guys and the room was of adequate size with TV and kettle. The room was fairly basic, but that was what we wanted, and the prices matched what we wanted. Breakfast was included and was great and plenty of food was available.
