A Spa only in name... In a nutshell, if its the last resort... Dont go. A £105 per night BnB plus £5 pp for breakfast, which was massively overpriced (See image) , it definately is NOT!! I've spent the whole night, yep all night thinking about what I'm going to write. ITS THAT BAD! Rather than ramble and complain, I'll just summerise. Here goes... The Staff - Polite, unhelpful, not interested The Bar - 🤔 😂 Joke The Hotel - Location to the beach is good and it's a relatively quiet area. Its an old hotel with every floorboard creaking, you can hear everything. The owners have crammed in at least 14 rooms using a lot of uninsulated drywall to create them. The Room - Clean and large enough for two. Shower dripped all night. Only one bedside table and a side lamp where the bulb pokes out the top of the shade! Its a little bit like a prison cell with a teeny tiny window. The Bed - Its like sleeping on a kingsize piece of wood with a hundred open tin cans with a blanket thrown over the top. We felt EVERY SPRING and I mean EVERY one of them. Needing chiropractor after this one See Image). Room 11 stay away. Summary. When I complained about the bed he just smiled at me and said 'Sorry'!!. Don't get me wrong, I've really roughed it at times on my travels but to pay this much.. Nah forget it, Its not worth it! If its the only place, think of your back! I understand its been rough for hoteliers and the like but come on, there's no incentive here to return. Expected more for this price. Spend the money somewhere else. If i could rate minus, I really would.

One night stay, Standard double room Positives: Good location, easy to locate. Negatives: Dirty teacups, no tea bags/teaspoon. No toilet papers. Rang one staff member, after 20 minutes or so, I managed to receive 2 clean cups and 1 toilet paper roll. Relatively small, average toilet/bathroom. The overall hygiene of the carpets, curtains, and furniture is below the standard. No internet/Wifi password was given. Overall, dissatisfied with the service.

Had to phone for staff. Shown to rooms. No toilet roll dirty cup no tea bags dirty carpet dirty towel in bathroom. Shower too small if you happen to be larger than average. Moved rooms. Still Very dirty. No toilet roll holder. Shower head fell off if water pressure increased. No mattress or pillow protectors. Breakfast poor selection Parking issues although we were early so managed to park ok. Not COVID clean. Definitely not cleaned to a decent standard. One member of staff helpful.

Myself and two others stayed here 3 nights at the beginning off August, B & B GOOD POINTS. 1. Great location, 10 minutes stroll to the beach. BAD POINTS. 1. No mirror in the room, had to keep going out to the landing, along with other guests. 2. No toilet roll holder on the wall, therefore if we put the loo roll within arms reach it would get wet from the shower ( unless we remembered to move it ) 3. We kept our socks on the whole time we were in the room, due to the carpet needing a good hoover, that was even on the day of arrival. 4. We had paid for 9 breakfasts, only to be told there was no chef as he was on leave , why would a chef be on leave during the busiest month , is beyond me. We were told there was a Harvester down the road, which there was, and very nice it was. And we could have breakfast there and we would be credited the breakfast price back into my bank account...FANCY THAT, THIS HAS NOT HAPPENED YET, and apart from my VERY FIRST email to them, and them replying, saying it would be sorted ASAP, I have not heard another thing , ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL. We did wake up to the smell of bacon cooking one morning...obviously they were cooking their own personal breakfast.
