For the price the location is excellent right next to the beach also had parking available when we arrived. It was perfect for us as we planned not to spend too much time in the hotel but the views from the seafront facing room was also excellent.
Very poor bath room, extractor fan did not work, door faces side of bed only 2 feet away, Bathroom not big enough door only just clears the toilet. Light wakes anyone else in the room if you need to get up in the night. Breakfast awful cold plates, luke warm food.
The Hotel Corridors smell of urine. I was waiting to get served at the bar and rang the bell about 3 times but all i could hear was someone in the kitchen using extremely bad language, when I complain to the receptionist about the language I was told "oh she is stressed and having a bad day". The cleaners are very rude and laughed at me when i asked for clean towels and told me "SORRY I SPEAK NO ENGLISH"
Stayed in this hotel for two nights and paid for breakfast for one of the nights. Both myself and my sister are coeliac. The only thing available was beans, yogurt and the little bit of fruit that they had available. When asked about what GF options they had, was first told to have a look myself and then when I asked a member of staff to see nutritional information she said, no not me. Stayed in plenty other hotels where being coeliac isn’t an issue and where the chef has made things especially but I felt like it was an issue here.
Good location, friendly staff, variety of food at breakfast, our room was clean and serviced when requested. However the room had no ventilation apart from a small gap at the top of the window. A fan was supplied but had little effect. On our 3rd morning of four we both felt unwell I believe through lack of oxygen/air quality and complained to the manager about the conditions in the room. Was offered another fan and an ironing board to stand them on. We decided to cut our losses for the sake of our health and check out early. Once we had been in the fresh air for a while we were both fine. This hotel needs a serious upgrade.
