Stayed in one of the suites which has a wonderful panoramic view of the city. Room was spacious and as described in the website. Bed was comfortable. Staff were nice and welcoming. Really enjoyed the high quality breakfast served on the ground floor which also offers great city views. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are in Bristol for a getaway.

My partner and I are expecting our second child in February & we found this lovely hotel online thinking it would be a nice break before our babies arrival. We were really excited to have a child free night, full night sleep and a cheeky lie in which is something very rare having a small toddler! Upon arrival we were super pleased as the hotel itself is beautiful and the decor is fab! The bathroom and the views were particularly lovely! However; if we didn’t know better then we’d have presumed that elephants were staying in the room above us. We had room 3 and directly above we could hear every single footstep the guests upstairs took, so much so it made the lights on the ceiling shake and flicker! This wouldn’t be so bad right? But this went on until 2am. Being 8 months pregnant I value a good night sleep more than most so the fact that I barely got a wink left me completely miserable the following day and I would have slept better at home with my toddler waking me up several times in the night! The breakfast was lovely and staff were friendly but it was completely dampened by the noise of the guests upstairs and minimal sleep!

Very attentive staff, breakfast was brilliant, pre order before 7am and always deliver as you arrive on table. A lot of nice, unexpected touches. The room was very cozy with great views. I think I managed to convince my partner to move to Bristol just for this experience. Thank you so much. We will come back again

If you fancy splurging on a hotel room, then I would definitely go for Room 2. The room was beautiful, well appointed and with great views front and back. I'll admit, I could have stayed another week. The staff were all welcoming and friendly, and the room itself, just fantastic. A copper bath is included in this suite along with a shower hidden behind a door. I've never stayed in a boutique hotel before, but this was definitely worth the money. Breakfast is included which can either be continental or cooked. It can be eaten in the lounge or delivered to your room for a £5 charge. They do not do evening meals but Clifton is full of great eateries. I would happily visit this hotel again, it makes a nice change to the usual corporate hotels I've stayed in. I'll have to stay longer next time I'm in Bristol.

Nice hotel, rooms were spacious and well kept, super warm, quiet at night, bed super comfy. Great location opposite the park, and 20-30 min walk into Clifton village and the suspension bridge. Hotel did lack a bit of atmosphere in the bar area (just seemed to be a drink service over the reception desk). Breakfast was good, although having to pay £10 a day to get it delivered to the room seemed steep and unwarranted (especially as tray was left in room until evening). Overall a nice stay, and would recommend.
