A surprisingly good B and B adjacent to the game park. Delightful hosts, great accommodation, good breakfasts and set in beautiful gardens. We were a party of 14 in total so took up most of the accommodation available. It suited us all, as we had individual thatched cottages, a pool to use and adjacent entertainment area where we could all gather.

My partner and I went over the long weekend. We had a good time and enjoyed the fact that we could bring our own food and drinks. The geyser in our room didnt work so we had to call the owner every time we wanted to shower but on our last day they did install a new one. The breakfast was good the first morning but following mornings were disappointing. The cleaning staff were great. The rooms are perfect for couples. Theres not much to do in the surrounding areas so I'd suggest just to go to relax.

Our family stayed in unit 2 and 5 over new year. Unfortunately for some the lodge is not child friendly, which we enjoyed as we wanted quietness. We find it extremely comfortable with all furniture, decor, aircon of the highest standard and quality. We enjoyed the spa bath the most. Looking out over the watering hole inside the Krugersdorp Game Reserve was a real treat with the animals coming in for a drink. Listing to the lions roar at night from the nearby lions camp was an added bonus. Don't forget a binoculars as we enjoyed watching the red hartebeest and giraffe in the distance from our patio. We also enjoyed the well kept gardens and lovely big swimming pool. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend to anybody as the price for what they offer is very affordable.

I visited Rocky Aloe Lodge just over a year ago and wondered whether it would still be a great stay. The answer: Yes, 10 times over. Situated in a peaceful area next to the Krugersdorp Nature Reserve, this is a place where you can really relax and connect with nature, while still enjoying all the amenities of a luxury lodge. The breakfasts provided by Elize & team are scrumptious. In the morning and late afternoon you are likely to see a variety of game coming to drink water right next to the fence. This venue is the perfect weekend getaway for those in Gauteng.
