Arrival at the Rabbit Hole kind of takes a person by surprise. I for one didn't expect such a cute and quaint place to be located so closely to a large shopping mall so it lead to a little bit of apprehension and somewhat disappointment. That being said I can counteract the negative with the fact that once you are indoors you have no idea you are still in the city. The hotel is done up quite nicely, especially the courtyard - the rooms are basic and offer what a person needs. I did think the theme could have been carried into the rooms but as my boyfriend said maybe that wouldn't suit some clients. The place really does come alive after sunset when the décor of the lodge shines - all the shiny pieces of mirror, the rich colours, the lighting, the the nooks and crannies all just

The Hotel was good. Great setting and the rooms were nicely laid out and comfortable. There was however a issue with the shower going from warm then cold then HOT then cold. I eventually after 20 minutes of fighting with the shower tap just turned it to cold. This on a very cold JHB winters morning. Not a great start to the day. We also only booked the hotel due to the fact that it had a restaurant and bar onsite as we did not want to drive around looking for these facilities. On arrival when we inquired about supper time and bar are we were told that the restaurant and bar were closed on Mondays. Nowhere on Trip Advisor is there any mention of this. If we had known this we would have booked a different venue. Breakfast was great! I will stay here again just not on Mondays

Had a comfortable 3 night stay here in a group. The pizzas from the restaurant are amazing! Breakfast was ok. The decor is beautiful. If you like something different and original like I do this is the place to stay and relax in. The rooms are a bit dated but still comfortable & the artwork around the hotel is worth a good walk around to look at. Have never seen anything so creative! Our kids loved the courtyard too.

If you going to be anywhere near Krugersdorp this is a nice place to stay for a weekend or a business trip. Postives: 1) The 2 person rooms were big, neat and perfect for a couple 2) Breakfast is served and as there is a restaurant as well you will never go hungry. 3) Staff was friendly. Negatives: 1) The restaurent is sometimes full in the everning so parking even for residents can be hard to find. 2) Had some issues with the hot water but was easily resolved. Overall: Good value for money and you will not regret staying here. make sure o visit the Cradle of Humankind if you have a free afternoon.

We had dinner at The Rabbit Hole (Year End Function). For a starter I had Chicken Liver. The dish presentation was good. The livers were served on a slice of toasted French bread. I would rather have the bread next to the liver. The livers were tasteful. For my main course I had a T-bone steak with cheese, biltong and avocado. The t-Bone was medium as requested and very tender. The cheese went well with the steak, the biltong and avocado did not really complement the steak. The steak was served with chips and salad. The salad was fresh but there was no dressing served with the dish. I would like to have some kind of dressing over my salad. The desert was a peppermint tart. It was nice. The overall impression of the food was good. The overall impression of the restaurant – the
