We stayed in a self catering cabana. Beautiful views, you cannot match the location of this hotel. The sound of the ocean, it's just spectacular. Everything you need in the cabana. 4 out of 5 for two reasons: 1. Every single one of the drains in our 3 bedroom 3 bathroom cabana didn't drain. The shower in the main bedroom was walk-in, so this meant you flooded the whole bathroom if you tried to shower there. Reported to reception, guys were sent to fix but no improvement. Reported again, but nothing was done. We were told it was the sand in the drains from the people before us... looked to us like the septic tanks were full 2. Cleaning the dishes/cutlery is the responsibility of the guests - I have no problem with this as there is a dishwasher, but surely you check whether the dishes are clean before the next guests arrive? The dishes in our cupboards were half washed, really gross... Otherwise a lovely stay, will definitely go again. …
After 35 years decided to visit this hidden wild coast gem again. Arrived on Christmas eve and had the most delicious Christmas dinner with the hotel manager/ owner as host. One of the best dinners we had in a long time. Had a 1st class seafood platter to following evening for dinner as we were booked for Dinner, Bed and breakfast. Needless to say breakfast was top notch. Hotel rooms with small deck opens to a neat garden and view of the breakers and tidal pool, smell of the ocean and view of endless beaches. Clean well equipped rooms, but would suggest management to add a small bar fridge to non self catering rooms. Bathroom comes with shower and bath , towels and soap. Will be back.
Wonderfully calm and relaxing accomodation. There were very few other guests so we had a nice quiet time but I think it can be a bit crowded in the self-catering section when all the cabanas are full. The views are great! Beautiful, neat garden. Stone’s throw away from tidal pool ans shell beach. We had an amazing holiday but small things in the cabana can be better- tap in kitchen was broken, stove not working properly and bathrooms in need of a good scrub! We will however recommend this hotel! Just love HagaHaga!!
I originally worked at this hotel briefly as a student and now many years later have had the repeated pleasure of visiting their bar/restaurant many many times! The food and service are excellent, food/drink prices are reasonable and the ocean view/setting is unsurpassed! if you miss Haga Haga Hotel you miss out - its that simple!!
Places is so beautiful. And that's all what you may appreciate. Managements of the hotel, unbelievable!!! We been so disappointed by the behaviour of the leading persons, which was clearly very disrespectful to their regular workers. We witnessed racism as to their staff as to some of our guest on our own wedding. We been treated with disrespect and overlook. Never experienced such a behaviour from the "hotel" to their customers. Only plus was a "local" workers, such a bartenders, housekeepers and cooks, who was nice and warm all the time. Never again!
