Stayed two nights as a rest during a long journey. What a lovely location and spectacular B&B accommodation.
The spacious room was very well appointed and had views over the river valley with varied game sightings including giraffes.
The restaurant and bar were in a nearby building, all staff were helpful and very friendly the food was limited in choice but perfectly adequate and well cooked, very enjoyable.
We took advantage of a game drive with the owner ‘B’ who was very informative, making it an enjoyable excursion.
Highly recommend staying here.

We stayed here for one night, on the way from Gauteng to Cape Town.
The rooms are very neat, with a very good bathroom, excellent bed and linen. The staff is friendly, efficient and helpful and the food was excellent. Dining is inside or on the terrace with a nice view and the accommodation far enough from the road to be quiet. We chose a room without TV, as we did not need it and would recommend you do the same, as rooms are adjacent and a TV from the neighbours would be unnecessary noise. We will definitely stay there again when we travel.

We overnighted here on our way home and we were blown away by the beautiful room and the fantastic service! We ordered dinner and breakfast as room service and it was delivered promptly and was very well presented even though it was pouring with rain for the dinner service! I found the cost of the stay very reasonable. The room was huge with a comfy couch with a TV (we couldn't get it to work but didn't miss it) there was a small dinning room table and two chairs, a bar fridge and microwave plus coffee making facilities. The bathroom is so well appointed and very modern. A deck leads off the sitting area and also has a table and benches. All and all I can't recommend Boschrand Lodge highly enough!

This game lodge is located absolutely perfectly for a stop on a long trip, its just off the huge N1, so you can hear the vehicles, but being surrounded by the stunning natural bush, with the animals grazing peacefully next to the rooms is so peaceful and calming. The rooms are spacious, clean and neat, though showing some signs of wear and tear. The room was lovely and warm with a lovely fireplace, and the bed was warm and comfortable.
We ordered our meal, and it was brought to the room, as the main center was burnt down some time ago. The food was to say the least, dissapointing, the steak ordered rare, was grey, tough and cold, the chips were soggy and cold. The chicken a la king looked really bad and tasted worse than it looked. The salad looked second hand. We went down to the bush camp to pay for the food and found the restaurant empty, not surprising unfortunately. A pity as with a bit of effort and maintenance, this could be a winning place to stay.

Thank you for the lovely stay. The service was great and breakfast wonderful! We had so much fun ☺️ The kids enjoyed the swimming pool and animals on the farm. We were fortunate to see a 3 day old buffalo, that was a very unique and special experience!

Easily accessible from N1. A bit of a dirt road on you way in, but friendly welcome and safe parking. Communication was very good during booking process. Excellent food (sirloin, lamb chops, chips, spinach and pumpkin pie (wow!)) served in our room for dinner. Beautiful very big room with little balcony with stunning views (Oryx 6), large leather couch, fire place, microwave and bar fridge and kettle. Bath and shower with separate toilet and 2 basins. No wifi in the room, only at the main lodge, which was fine by us. Shin went above and beyond with bar (very poor wine selection unfortunately) and meal service and Gwyn was lovely. Cannot recommend them enough and will definitely be back.

Our room was clean and spacious, the service from the staff was great, friendly and attentive. The dinner and breakfast was really good.
The view from the balcony overlooking the river was lovely and having a sundowner after a long trip was super.
Would recommend this as a nice stop over from Jhb to CT.

Very clean and large bedroom and bathroom, good menu and good food. Excellent breakfast on deck and frendly staff. Needs a bit of attention"/upkeep after the rains and the covid/ lock down "recession, but we will definitely stay there again. Good mattress, good linen.
