I enjoyed an enchanting overnight stay in the Buckingham Suite of the Chartwell Castle. My request for a late check-in at 20H30 was kindly accommodated with the kind-hearted Esther waiting for me on arrival. The Suite is spacious, clean and very comfortable with a HUGE King size bed with crisp cotton linen. Waking up in the very serene and quiet surrounds was heaven!

What an absolute amazing place. This is really a castle, for those who are still in doubt. The detail everywhere, in every room and even the bathroom are stunning. We booked the whole castle for our company's strategic planning weekend. From the very first phone call till we waved them goodbye, was amazing. Clinton, Tanya, the kitchen staff, our barman/braaier/chef did everything with a smile. They went through so much trouble to make our stay comfortable. The conference facilities, the meals, the maize were 5 star!!!!!!!! I can recommend them for any kind of function or weekend. They have the most beautiful setting for a wedding, corporate event, or just escaping from reality. I WILL MOST DEFINITELY GO BACK!!!!!!!!

We didn’t stay over, nor did we have breakfast, as we went to experience the fir tree maze on their grounds. The kids had a blast finding the fountain at the end of a really well maintained maze. The grounds around the BnB are magnificent. Service was great and the owners were very pleasant! Overall a beautiful venue to take the kids and have a picnic under their trees while they run around on the manicured lawns.

Some excellent reviews and entering the stunning garden with beautiful buildings, conjured up expectations of an idyllic three days. These hopes were shattered the minute we stepped over the threshold. The endless potential of the house remains fully untapped. We were met by a dour lady who did no more than direct us to our room. The staff, though friendly, are unprofessional. The worst part was the shower windows, which literally looked as it they had not been cleaned for many years. I cannot recommend this guest house.

Real nice to say you are available for comments during a VERY LOUD EVENT.... But you do not answer ANY of your phone numbers. Your events with speakers outside are against our bylaws. This noise is a noise disturbance. Stop playing your music outside.
