We drove up to the AccoLog from Vancouver for a cozy weekend and we had a great time. The hosts, Esther and Hans-Jürg are very welcoming and provided us with all the local knowledge and tips for activities and places to eat. Their chalet is beautifully located and overlooks two lakes. Not to forget is the breakfast which is outstanding. We’ll be back!

Accolog was the second to last stop on a circle tour that took us from Vancouver Island through Bella Coola, the Chilcotin/Caribou and Duffy Lake Rd. Esther and Hans provided expert hosting with comfortable accommodation, great breakfast, good conversation and local knowledge of this beautiful area.

On our way up to Quesnel stopped for golf at 108 mile course. Located just a couple minutes away. We had phoned ahead and booked a room over the phone.Talked to Esther about a overnighter. She was very friendly and welcoming. She and husband Hans make you feel at home. Our your room was located on the lower level of the log house. Very clean and had everything we needed for our your stay. Comfortable and relaxing sitting outside your room. The breakfast was great and lots of choices. We phoned and booked another night coming back down from Quesnel. Just like the first night with warm greetings from our hosts. We enjoyed having coffee with them and chatting about the area. This is the place to stay if you are in the area. Thanks again for your hospitality, and Hans good luck fishing.

On my way from Prince George BC to Burnaby BC on a motorcycle trip and I had this misfortune of a breakdown in 108 Mile house, and this was the last of my bad luck. I googled the closest accommodation to where I broke down and I had a choice between 2 and I chose Accolog, I called and explained my situation and not only were they able to provide me with lodging but they also were gracious enough to ask if I was okay and if had the ability to get to their B&B with the shape my motorcycle was in. Once I arrived they showed me around and even gave me a place to store my bike where it could be safe and dry. The B&B was clean and beautifully set up. The Log home was stunning both inside and out, the property was well manicured and that wasn't even the best part!! Hans and Esther were what made this trip go from good to amazing! Their friendly demeanor, positive attitude and overall customer service was unmatched. I can't begin to express my gratitude, their beautiful B&B and their welcoming atmosphere made what could have been a disaster of a trip into an unscheduled vacation in 108 mile that I won't soon forget. Comfy bed, great breakfast and awesome people! I would recommend staying here to anyone and I hope I get to come back under better circumstances next time!!! Thanks again!! Chris
