AWEFUL STAFF! I called Aug 4th and Sheri helped me with the reservation. She was kind! I didn’t get any confirmation email. So I called next day to see why that was the case. A woman picked up the phone and her being biased towards the call was super obvious from the very beginning. She wasn’t willing to acknowledge the rate I was given the day before she said she can only give me the rates she had that day. There were implications that she didn’t fully trust my word. I told her that she should appreciate as a customer it doesn’t make sense for me to pay more because of her colleague’s mistake. My tone of voice was normal. But she said she is not willing to help me and hung up! When I called again to ask them to send me an email regarding the reservation not confirmed in case I get charges on my credit card, the other guy who picked up wasn’t any better. He said I am sorry for the way you have been treated but we have had enough of you tonight. He refused to send me anything in writing so that I can refer to in case there are charges on my credit card. After all there was a staff member who made a mistake and there could have been another possibility which was me experiencing charges. This is a valid concern and I was not asking for much. After reading some of the reviews and seeing how some people of colour have been treated by racist comments, I have no doubts that my feelings regarding the discrimination was valid. They obviously could not see me while speaking over the phone but I have an accent which could very well been noticed by both the girl and the guy whom I spoke with. Avoid at all possible cost. They really don’t seem to be polite and as people in hospitality business they should do way better than hanging up on customers!!! I have been in North America for 20 years and this was by far my worst experience! I haven’t had anything like this! JUST AWEFUL! I spoke with the manager later and he was able to find a reservation under my last name which was terrible misspelled despite of me spelling every word at the time of the reservation! He was able to find it under the last four digits of my credit card. So after all the staff members whom I had spoke to were wrong, rude and very unprofessional!…
Great location - very easy to find, Canadian Tire gas right beside it, stores, fast food and Bank in walking distance ie. Metro grocery, LCBO, Dollarama, Subway, Tim Hortons , Mcdonalds, BMO and Shoppers Drug. Very clean hotel- inside and outside premises and the hotel room itself. Several BBQ grills around the property. Covid safety protocols in place- wearing masks, sanitizing and social distancing
Mon nov 15/20 Jackie the front desk clerk was so sweet, kind and helpful. She made the booking totally stress free which we were since having lost power at home for 28 hrs. We had to move in as my husband is on oxygen 24/7 we needed power and a warm place. So, we packed up our pets and stuff needed and here we are. Thanks Diane and Dave
I would recommend the Comfort Inn to anyone. It's close to the main street, to shops and restaurants, walking distance! Clean, the staff were helpful and the breakfast was fine. Mainly considering that due to Covid-19 everything had to come packed (muffin, yogurt, box of juice, boiled eggs and a fruit). We could keep our distance and wearing the mask indoors until reaching our room worked well.
We stayed here last month and it was a comfortable motel not luxurious but it had all the convenience we needed , clean newer furniture , little dark , a brown bag breakfast of just a few things can not call it a breakfast this might have changed by now we would return .
