Detailed Reviews
This hotel is the perfect little gem for a couples fall getaway. While it is close to the main road, the minute you step over their bridge to their main entrance it is quiet and pleasant, with a small courtyard and fireplace. There are complimentary bikes for fun excursions and a cozy room next to the lobby with a fireplace. Our room had a jetted tub and large shower area; we loved the tub for daily private soaks. There are plenty of restaurants and activities within a short walking distance, with the Ski Run Marina just across the street. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. With John's guidance on places to go we took a great bike ride to Nevada beach and drove to Sand Harbor for kayaking.

Staff here was wonderful (Shoutout to Jordan who checked us in) and helpful, the beds were comfy, I loved the big bath tub with jets and the updated decor and complimentary bicycles were a nice touch. This is also in a great location, close to CVS and dinning options, and we used the back lot to practice the lime scooters before we took them out on the street. Appliances could use some updates - the fridge really didn't keep anything cold we had in there. But, other than that this was a great stay. We would love to come back and I highly recommend for a romantic stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about the Postmarc. It is in a really good location. We like to walk so we were able to get around quiet easily to restaurants, shops, beach, etc...The staff were always very helpful when we needed anything. We rented the Fireplace King and were not disappointed. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, the large tub was awesome, and the fireplace was nice to have for the cool mornings. I highly recommend the Postmarc.

We arrived with high expectations but within mins of stepping in to the motel it was obvious that it wasn't too our liking.
Security was an issue, as the rear door was open throughout our stay. At least every time we entered at different times.
The place needs not a coat of paint but a major renovation. The carpets are worn while the rooms scream of the 1976! Gaudy and tacky comes to mind.
The gray linen which I'm sure was once white should be tossed in the garbage bin. The curtains surrounding the hot tube also needs to be tossed.
Couldn't wait to checkout.
Jake at the front desk was friendly and professional.
Cannot recommend. Won't be back.

Dear Guest, Sorry to hear your experience was less than 5 star. Doors are open due to Covid and for everyone's safety; not touching what you don't have to. I will tell 'John' your comments. Hope you got to enjoy all that Lake Tahoe had to offer with all the many things to do. Take care.

Not what I would consider clean, especially for how much it cost for my stay. There were hairs in the jetted tub, the shower did not look clean and the grout around the tub and shower looks disgusting. One shower head looked like its coming off the wall as well. There's items from previous guests under the bed. The trash can in the bathroom had black water in it and was clearly not changed out. I'm less than impressed with this hotel considering it cost me $550 for 3 nights. But the staff was nice and friendly and the location is good. Parking wasn't an issue either. I just think someone needs to do a little updating to the rooms and the housekeeping staff needs to do a better job cleaning. I liked having a jetted tub and double shower head in the shower. Loved the bed and the mirrored walls, very romantic. Loved the location of the hotel as well and convenience of parking.

This hotel has a ton of potential. The room was big and spacious and smelled / looked clean. The tub was great to soak in.
The bed was beyond uncomfortable however and basically kept the Mrs. and I from sleeping much at all. We only stayed one night, and even though we were exhausted from a long day of skiing, couldn't fall or stay asleep to save our lives.
The mattress badly needs to be replaced. They also need better blinds for the windows as the parking lot lights are bright and don't allow you to make your room dark (making sleep tough as well).
I hope management sees this, and informs me that they are replacing their mattresses and putting up actual curtains over the windows. I will happily change my review if they do.

Booked a king spa suite for a birthday get away expecting to have a relaxing and fun weekend. On the plus side, the staff was polite, friendly, accommodating; there are a few nice bars, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance; the jetted spa tub was big enough for two people and worked great. Now for the reasons I’m only giving two stars: the room is not exactly a suite, only slightly bigger than a standard motel room with limited storage space for clothes, mini fridge and microwave on top of the bathroom sink counter rather than a kitchenette. The said mini-fridge was so old that it made a constant loud whirring noise. Between the lacking wall insulation and the old pipes, anytime someone turned on water anywhere in the building, it was so loud that it was like sleeping in a utility closet. As a result, we didn’t sleep well all. The amenities were minimal - no bath robes, very basic toiletries, cheap coffee and no tea in the room. All of this would be fine if it was a budget place, but the price we paid even though discounted was much higher than the level of accommodation warranted. I booked this place based on glowing reviews and was sorely disappointed. Could have probably found a nicer room for a better price. Hoping this review will help
others avoid the same mistake.

Stayed at the Postmarc for one night. Thought we would splurge and get one of the fireplace king suites. We have stayed here before and really enjoyed the rooms. Well this time we got a room that was, well for lack of a better description weird. You walk into the room and laid out before you is the most confusing layout. They boast Jacuzzis in their rooms, but what we walked into was nothing short of a oddly shaped whole in the floor with steps leading in. It easily could have held 500 gallons of water, but we never made it that far. After about an hour, and three faucets, running full blast we got the water to the first step…just enough to cover the jets. Tried to turn on the jets, took about 4 tries to get them on. I would equate it to trying to start an old truck, you know it will start eventually you just have to be patient. Well we sat there for a few minutes looking around the completely steam filled room and just gave up on the idea of having a relaxing bath. Once we got the steam cleared, using the exhaust fan in the small toilet room, we went to bed. Most everything was damp from the steam. Needless to say we were a little disappointed. There were other things that needed attention, but those were just cosmetic. The mirrors were a little unnerving, and the hooks and eye bolts attached directly over the bed, odd. So if you are looking at the Postmarc avoid at all costs room 118, unless you are into this kinda thing.

Truly glad you love the hotel. Room 118 is a honeymoon room which is why there is a 9 foot jetted tub, not a jacuzzi. Yes, it takes about 25 minutes to fill which is worth the wait. Look forward to you coming back. Perhaps in a different room. Take care.

I booked this hotel nearly 3 months in advance for my Anniversary. My email confirmation had the correct check in dates and my debit card was billed 2 days prior to check in. Upon arrival we were told we had no reservations, after 10 minutes of waiting and me crying, we we were offered a horribly tiny, dirty room with no fireplace above the lobby facing the busy road or a refund. We ultimately took the refund but our money was not returned until a week later and we ended up driving 5 hours back home. Beware of this place, they offered no apologies or compensation and were downright rude. Terrible customer service.

We just stayed at Postmarc again and are once again so thrilled with the overall experience. We were greeted by Scott who was above and beyond with providing great customer service. He was very informative when it came to his favorite local restaurants and spots for live music, and such a friendly attitude. In fact all staff we encountered were delightful. I stayed here years ago, and they did a wonderful job on updating the rooms, but still retaining the cool layouts with the in suite jacuzzi tubs. The bed is SO comfortable and love the bedding. I want this whole setup for my house! Walking distance to almost everything. This last stay we walked across the street and found the spot Scott told us for Greek food and entertainment, and stopped at the convenience store on the way back to pick up a bottle of champagne! So convenient! Postmarc is by far our first choice when it comes to lodging in SLT. We can’t wait to return and hopefully have our wedding party stay here this summer!! Also conveniently located to Ski run Blvd., so Heavenly is just minutes away. Thanks again for the enjoyable stay, and can’t wait to return!

No room service and no on site restaurant. Suggest you check with the hotel on late checkout but based on my experience they are not very accommodating
Our room didn’t have a full-blown hot tub, it had a tub with jets. Not all rooms have that tub so be sure to call and ask.
Not too far walking. There is a tram located on HWY 50 at Friday Blvd, approximately 6 blocks east.
Bikes are on a first come, first serve basis for a 3 hour rental. We no longer rent kayaks but you can get a deal across the street at Ski Run Marina. Please see lobby for coupon. See you soon.
