Good for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
The location is awesome! A short walk to the lake (about 4 blocks) and an even shorter walk to the strip and Harveys/Harrahs are right there. The bed was pretty comfortable. I had made reservations for a Deluxe King room via Groupon, the room was supposedly regularly $541/night, but I've super 8's that are nicer, bigger with more current decor. I did like the very large picture hanging instead of a headboard :-) The Deluxe King room, as per their website, has a fireplace, new TV, fridge, microwave & coffee maker. Unfortunately, when we arrives, the had not received our reservation and had no rooms left, but gave my husband a key for the neighbor motel (Alpine) under the same management. I don't know if this is their regular practice? But no fireplace and this was literally the smallest motel room I have ever been in (aprox 16 x 16), no room for a chair, so there wasn't one. But we had a bed, a dresser and a desk (but no chair), 2 smallish, thinnish towels and hand towels, no washcloths, but the bed was comfortable! Be prepared that the motel does not have an ice maker. The pool looked clean, but we didn't use it. Next door was Basecamp which had live music, we loved it, but depending on the band and the hours you keep it could be a big minus. The room didn't feel "clean" but upon my not too close of inspection, it didn't look dirty, just in need of upgrades. We were just there to sleep and shower, so all was ok, just irritated that we ended up with a room which was not what was paid for.

This motel was very dirty. Although the price was ok i could have stayed at a Motel 6 for a better value. Cedar inn had no air conditioning system even though they had a thermostat displayed. Very hard to get any help from front desk because you had to call a number every time you needed something.

Calm, peaceful surrounding. Easy check-in , staff was welcoming and accommodating. Bathroom was clean and shower was good. All the amenities were there to make our stay comfortable. Parking was easy and wi-fi was good. Will recommend this place for anyone coming to Tahoe

This place was disgusting! I have paid $50 for a better motel than this. Walls had something splattered all over all walls were disgusting and the floor was so dirty we walked from the bathroom to the bed which isn’t far and our feet were black! Then the air conditioner went out and was hotter in the room than outside! I tried to get a refund but of course they didn’t offer that! Do not stay here, pay a little more to stay somewhere you don’t feel gross getting out of the shower. Even the employees have to sit without air conditioning the owner should be ashamed

Found a glass shard in the bathroom. When I informed the office they said that they would come clean the room, but they didn't. Sheets were stained, the walls are paper thin, and rooms are very dated with wires hanging out of the walls. Not recommended unless your only other option is sleeping on a park bench...

Please, please do not ever stay here...ever. For any circumstance. This place needs to be condemned. It's the dirtiest, grossest place I've ever walked into....and that's all we did. Walked into the room, felt nauseated, and immediately walked out and booked elsewhere. I think being in jail or sleeping on the street would be a better option. Walk away. Don't even think about it...unless it's Halloween and you want a horror story.

Location is all this place has going for it. The rooms are bare bones and look nothing like the pictures. The TV was the only feature we had and it didn't work. No fridge or microwave. The stated hot tub was non-functional too. What a dump!!!

Clean and well maintained rooms. Rooms had a microwave and a mini fridge with all other basic amenities needed. One of the main highlight of this property is its location. You can just walk to Beach, casino's and many other spots. I ll stay here again for sure!

This place location pretty amazing. We just walked around to many spots. Rooms was decent size and cleaned. There were all needed amenities in the rooms. The pressure was good in shower. We spend a good time at the property. Will visit again for sure.

This place has excellent location. We just walked to casino's and many attraction. It is also very close to beach. Staff was nice and friendly and rooms were cleaned to satisfaction. Check-in and check-out was smooth. Overall its a great value.
