Great location in Heavenly Village in S. Lake Tahoe. There are plenty of restaurants, Starbucks, shops and a Raley's grocery store nearby. Casino's in Stateline, NV are a 5min walk away if that's what you like. Lakeside beach is about a 10min walk north on Park Ave.

We had a spacious 1 bedroom suite. Fireplaces in both the bedroom and living area (sofa & 2 chairs). Kitchen w/electric range, microwave, double sink & fridge. Large spa tub w/shower. All utensils for the kitchen are in the shelves: plates, cups, glasses, etc.

Van Sickle park is a few minutes away walking south on Heavenly Village Way for hikes, picnics, peace & quiet.

Room rates are reasonable, but being that this is a Vacation Club location (timeshare), they don't apply benefits of the Marriott Bonvoy program. We asked the front desk clerk for a late checkout and he was rather non-committal & rude with his response. It wasn't peak season and accommodations could have been made easily in my opinion.

Valet is offered ($29/night). The guys handle the traffic well, socially distance as best they can and wear masks at all times. There is a public parking garage nearby ($25/day), but it's not efficient if you're coming & going quite often. Especially with luggage.

Overall our experience was great and we'd come back again.

Stayed here Aug 14-17. Location is perfect. Staff is are great. I felt pretty safe to have my kids in the pool; I observed them sanitize after every guest leaving. Had to pay $29 for valet parking. We’re going back in September and booked through Heavenly Village Condos and parking is included. So book through that instead of Marriott to save.

I loved the location of this hotel, plenty of shopping and restaurants to pick from. The spa located inside the hotel was amazing! However, during "holiday" months the prices are crazy! So keep in mind that the prices listed for services on the website are not set in stone. Our suite was wonderful, great views from the bedroom balconies. My only issues were at check in, it was very difficult to unload our car and getting them to hold our bags until check in was very complicated. We also had an issue with our hot tub. It was completely drained and cleaned without notice on the second day of our stay we could not use the hot tub at all which was extremely disappointing. That was a selling point on the suite but we only got to use it the first night of our stay. However, staff was very friendly and the hotel offers tons of events and activities to attend.

We thought this place might be a little slower then usual given “covid time” but nope- it was going off! Everyone and their mother was staying here and shopping around the hotel and eating out and cocktails were flowing. Who knew covid was not a worry around this place.
Mi d you the whole staff and hotel was in direct covid effect with masks, sprays etc.the tourists seem to think this was a covid free vacation zone. Our two bedroom villa was so roomy we stayed in there and cooked meals, relaxed in between hikes and attempting to social distance adventure bug the darn people kept coming and coming it was crazy! We had a few lovely adventures until the fire smoke wiped the whole place out clean. That is one way to get the covid fun seekers to go away. The smoke was so bad we could not see across the street.
The room had a. We air filter which I’m pretty sure the cleaning staff changes with each room clean.
The cleaning supplies under the sink was so great to have. The place had laundry soap, plenty of garbage bags, paper towels, anything you might need to stay comfortably. We were there for a week and had a great visit. The staff was all so friendly and kind anywhere we went on the property. I wish the other guests were kind to the staff in return but you can’t fix rude...
overall lovely hotel, it’s a bit loud and extremely busy all around the hotel but that’s because it’s popular. Definitely would stay here again. Great time.

Loved this hotel. Although part of a timeshare resort, we booked a studio room for our stay. Great location next to the Heavenly Gondola, with shops and restaurants nearby. Our studio unit was a great size for the two of us, with a full kitchen in near new condition. Raley's grocery is across the street, so we were able to shop for some staples and save a little money. The studio was spotless, and we found every staff member to be very kind and courteous at every interaction. We stayed in room 5226, and although there is not much of a view we would definately stay here again.

I reserved a two bedroom suite with one of the rooms having two queens for 3 nights. The room itself was spacious and well stocked. It had all the amenities we were looking for and more! There were 5 of us staying in the room and we felt like there was plenty of space.

The real strength of this place is the location if you ski Heavenly. You can walk directly to the gondola. In addition, if you are staying at the Marriott, the rental shop will hold your rentals at the gondola. In addition, you are located in a great area with tons of shops and restaurants. The casinos are about a 5-10 minute walk. I'm not sure there is a better located hotel in South Lake Tahoe.

Some of the people in our group did a massage and liked it. In addition, others joined the ballroom dancing class they had and also enjoyed that. I do think it is strange that they charge for DVD rentals to their guests. It seems like that should be complimentary.

As a Platinum member, I got a few bonus points on check in, but otherwise not really any benefits. They sent an email before and were very upfront about it though.

I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay in a studio unit at the Marriott this past summer. It was our first day in South Lake Tahoe and we’re so happy that we chose this hotel. The room was well furnished with comfortable beds and a great view of Heavenly, which has a lift in the resort.

Arriving at the hotel was a little hectic and took sometime at the valet. The circle driveway is a little small and all cars must be garaged by the valets. So, there was quite a bit of delay with unloading and loading of luggage and people. Still, the valets were moving quickly and were very friendly. Each time they brought back a car, they sanitized the steering wheel door handles of the car.

Even though we were dealing with so many safety precautions due to Covid, most of the stores and restaurants were open. We enjoyed the pool and the lobby fireplaces. The restaurants were very good. There are so much variety in stores, shops, and resorts in proximity, we spent a lot of our days just walking around. To see the lake, however, we drove.

Recently stayed at this hotel with the family. We had the two bedroom cabin and it was terrific. The place was totally clean and the service of the staffs were outstanding. The gym was kept by appointment only and you can see that it is safe to enter as it is being cleaned and sanitized at all times. The room was clean and the television entertainment was also great with plenty of channels available. Next to the residence are shops and eateries making it convenient. There is also a grocery store right across the hotel making it so conveniently within walking distance. The valet service was also off the hook as the valet attendants were courteous and friendly.

This hotel reminds me of an old hotel I may have stayed at in New York City many years ago. The carpeting doesn't look clean. There is no daily room cleaning, although you can call down for extra soaps, shampoos, replacement towels, etc. But you have to get through the maze of telephone menus before getting to speak to someone (the special button on the phone doesn't do the job!). Also, there is a $32 charge for valet parking for all guests each day (no self-parking available). Add to that a tip for the valet each time you need your car. Staff was very friendly and courteous, however that doesn't make up for the shortcomings. We will not stay there again. There are many other alternative places to stay.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for the weekend of Feb 19th, 2021. Stayed in their 2 bedroom suite with three bathrooms, which sleeps 7 people comfortable. Before heading out there, we were a bit concerned about Covid protocols and cleanliness of any hotel. We were pleasantly surprised at their cleaning efforts. Everything looked clean down to the remote controls for the televisions. They even left new cleaning wipes in the room for the guest to use. All products in the room, soap, toilet tissues, paper towels etc. were all new and unopened.

As far as the hotel. We arranged and had to wait a bit for our room to be ready. Understood since it takes more time to clean with Covid. The room was nice and comfortable. The hotel is right in the middle of the village so lots of options for food. Everything was take-out or outdoor dinner. Since it was in the middle of February, it was quite cold eating outdoor. It is also right new to the Heavenly ski. It is walking distance to Gordan Ramsay's Hell Kitchen and they offered indoor dinning for those who don't want to sit outside.

Overall was very pleased with the hotel. I did not interact much with the employees except for when I checked in and checked out. For those periods of interaction, the employees were nice. One important thing to note is that there is no self parking, only valet parking. We had two vehicles and once we parked the first day, we really did not need our cars the entire trip until it was time to check out.

Outside of the hotel, be prepared because there were quite a bit of visitors around the area. Most people worn their masks except when eating but there were also a number of people who were walking around with no masks on. Just something to be aware if you are concerned whether everyone is taking Covid seriously.

I would recommend this hotel. Location is good. Staff seemed helpful and it seems they are following Covid cleaning protocols. We felt safe and comfortable. It was a nice get away after being struck at home for almost a year
