Well...this is a big room. That’s the only positive besides the ok bed. The sunken jet tub takes literally 20 min to fill to a decent depth but by then the water is cold. There is no fan in the bathroom and all our windows have no screens! The fireplace is an actual Wood fireplace. It’s currently 50 and raining. Do we have a fire?? Nope. Not able to use it. The walls are super thin. I can hear the neighbors talking most of the night. The motel is close to 50 so you gear the traffic very clear in your room. I’m upset I paid $270 for 2 nights here.

We were suprised by this place. Not your typical econo lodge. Quiet and clean room. Marble top dresser and nightstand. Beds were reasonably comfortable. Bathroom is the only thing that was less their desirable. I am not an overweight person but the shower is very small and I brushed the shower surface when getting in.

Pros: The room was clean and comfortable and an easy walk to Heavenly Village. Area seemed safe.
Cons: There was no wifi connectivity and the a/c was really loud. Apparently Econo Lodge has taken over an adjacent motel property on the east side. There is an empty paved lot between this other property and the main Econo Lodge. Despite the front desk attendant's assurance that there was internet on the adjacent property, we never got wifi . We only spent a night here, so it wasn't a big deal, but if you need wifi, then be sure to request a room in the main Econo Lodge building.

Caveat: I’m used to nicer places.
The room was far below what I’d hoped for. Housekeeping either needs to be paid more so they do a thorough job OR hire new housekeepers because when I find HAIR in the bathroom, bathtub, floor, clogging the shower/tub drain I start feeling sick and really upset.
The sink doesn’t drain for ages.
The toilet came close to overflowing several times. I’m talking about my son only peeing, flushing the toilet and it came so close to overflowing that my disgust meter elevated.
We were about to head out to a concert and the toilet started to come close to overflowing.
I pick up the phone to ask for maintenance and (clutches pearls because what did I expect? 😩😂) the PHONE doesn’t work. REALLY? I had to call the front desk from my cell phone. After 15 minutes went by and no maintenance person came to fix the toilet, I walked to the front desk and kindly asked again. Another 10 minutes and that was taken care of.
Let’s talk bed! I’m assuming it’s been here for decades. My entire body hurts from the zero support, springy bed.
The floor. Either they don’t mop or they mop with dirt. Feet and socks filthy from walking in here.
The people who work here are helpful and kind. They deserve the single star because this is a dump, the hotel gets two thumbs down, zero stars, do not recommend.
So have I convinced you to stay here so you can suffer like we did? Ha!
Truly - I don’t even want to come back to Tahoe because this turned me off so much.

This Motel is absolutely a terrible place to stay. We as a family of 6 booked this by accident. There is no positive thing about this place.
1. The walls are thin as a paper you can hear the neighbours laughing and snoring
2. Since this is on main road the windows are so poor that you can hear every car passing by.
3. They have a fan which is used to provide cold air and this makes noise likes a aeroplane engine. Kiss goodby to your night sleep!!!
4. There is no lights in the room they have used two lamps to lighten the room.
5. The floor sqeeks eveytime
6. There is no room service to get a replacement towels or room made.- as this is a Motel or sh*t whole
7. No light is showering area
8. This is another version of glamping with 4 star hotel price.
9. Breakfast is waffles and toast with juice- they don’t even serve water
10. If your room gets broken into don’t be surprised. There is no feeling of safe.

AVOID AT ALL COST!!!! Otherwise you will suffer the consequences and regret that wish you booked something slightly better.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location for the village. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Rooms are a good size for your price and comfy. Breakfast is available on a grab and go basis which was perfect and we were told about this before checking in. Loved this hotel. Thank you for making our stay perfect.

I read some of the negative reviews. My reaction is disbelief. I think some reviewers use their reviews as opportunities to vent their personal frustrations - even if they are unrelated to the property they are reviewing. In my experience, this motel offers a sparking clean room, courteous front-desk staff, comfortable bed, and good television. Additionally, its pet fere is only $15. Also, its breakfast is adequate - the timed waffle iron makes restaurant quality waffles, the coffee and juice machines are wonderful, plus there are breads and bagels, oatmeal, and apples. For most, that is all that is essential for breakfast.

When I book an EconoLodge, I don't go in expecting much. This hotel actually surprised me in a good way. The room was clean and comfortable. Yes, the furniture is a bit dated and the walls could use a touch-up in places, but as long as the room is clean and comfortable I'm not stressing over that.

What really stood out was the breakfast. They had coffee, juice, cereal, and fresh waffles. This was a great thing to have included for a day of skiing.

Staff were very friendly.

Only downsides were the old heating system is still in the room let some cold air and sound in the room, but I just close the bathroom door and that stopped it. There's also limited parking. I was visiting at the end of ski season so it wasn't an issue but I could see it becoming one. Perhaps they have an overflow lot I'm not sure.

Wi-Fi service was good.

I saw the negative reviews, but figured it'd be fine, as I just wanted a cheap place to sleep before/after skiing. The hotel itself is what you'd expect for the price, but unfortunately the quality of your stay will be impacted by the sorts of people who do stay at budget hotels.

I stayed 2 nights, and both nights I could hear multiple rooms of people having parties, playing music, conversations, people coming/going, until 3 or 4 am.
Even during the day, I could easily overhear conversations in neighboring rooms.

So I definitely won't be staying here again, as I may as well just drive up for skiing if I'm not going to get any sleep.

This place need a multi million dollar face lift. Pool is empty and filthy. The exterior shows years of neglect, flaking paint, crumbling concrete. Barely enough parking. $188 on a Saturday night is outrageous. You can hear next room occupants. “Breakfast” is bagels, waffles, yogurt, coffee... Room is small, no closet, chair jammed in next to bed your legs hit. Afraid to try the jacuzzi tub. Only plus is recently painted lobby, very pleasant front desk person. Won’t stay here again.
