The Hilton Vacation Club Tahoe Seasons at Lake Tahoe garners appreciation for its prime location near ski lifts and its assortment of amenities, including a heated pool and fitness center, although the absence of a bar and restaurant has been noted. Guests frequently commend the friendly staff and efficient valet service, contributing to the hotel's cozy vibe, while the spaciousness of the rooms is acknowledged despite some dated decor and low ceilings.
However, opinions on value are divided, with some guests questioning additional fees despite acknowledging the useful amenities. Cleanliness is generally praised, even as concerns about sustainability and housekeeping fees emerge.

Detailed Reviews
The location of Tahoe Seasons Resort is fabulous, right on the slopes next to Heavenly and away from the crowds down at Stateline. We had a one bedroom, which had a separate bedroom and then a living room with a fold out couch we used for our son. There is a step up and down between these two rooms where the bathroom is. The steps on both side are lit with lights, that you cannot turn off. For those of us that sleep with black-out curtains, the room is super bright at night. I tried covering them with extra towels, but still bright. Also, we were on the 8th floor, which at first we thought was great as we wouldn't hear any noise above us. But maybe one of two floors down was a veranda outside and at about 1 a.m., a group of 5 or 6 people were out there smoking and drinking and we could literally hear every word they said. No sure why the door outside to this spot is not locked at a certain time. So because of the noise and bright lights, both my husband and I got very little sleep. When we went to leave and get our car from valet (they only have valet), it had snowed all night and while every other car we saw coming back was not not covered in snow, our truck was. Maybe because it was a truck they put it outside. And I don't care about snow being on our truck, but nobody cleaned off the whole windshield or hood and we didn't have anything to do it with, so my husband is out there cleaning it off with his arm and nobody is offering assistance. I want to like this place, as it seems like a good value in Tahoe, but they need to tweak a few things to help make your stay good.
Pros: loved the hot tub, lobby staff are friendly, location, rooms spacious.
Con: lights in room don't turn off, noisy for sleeping, valet not considerate.

I had a comfortable and spacious unit, but definitely the design is outdated. The toilet room has a full body mirror, and the jacuzzi/shower is in full view between the living room and bedroom. Besides these entertaining quirks, my complaints are the following:
1.I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. In 2 of the 3 nights a lot of water came up from the jacuzzi drain and went back down again. Quite a laugh but it woke me up at night.
2.Housekeeping never came into the unit to take away trash or make the bed. I don’t know if this is the current policy due to Covid-19.
3.Be aware the hotel only has valet parking. I was leaving the hotel at 5am to go hiking. To accommodate me (since valet service was not available at 5am), valet parked my car in front of the hotel instead of the parking garage. Unfortunately on my second day, I noticed valet had left my car’s headlights on overnight.
The pros for staying at the Tahoe Seasons Resort were the following:
1.The people at the front desk were very helpful.
2.My unit was very spacious for one person. I really appreciated how the unit had a microwave, kitchen sink, refrigerator, and a dining lounge. The place is really set up to accommodate up to 4 people. The bedroom has a queen bed and the living room has a sofa bed.
3.The view from the bedroom window are just a forest of pine trees. I enjoyed watching the trees sway in the wind.
There are a lot of mirrors in the unit. Mirrors in the bedroom, mirrors in the washroom across from the jacuzzi/shower, mirror next to the dining lounge, and a full body mirror in the toilet room. So if you are vain and enjoy watching yourself in all sorts of positions or activities, then this is the place for you.

We stayed at Tahoe Seasons Resort last week for a ski vacation. We used RCI timeshare exchange. We had called prior to ask if the Sunday to Sunday could be changed to Saturday to Saturday and were told "no problem". We had called the week prior to confirm this. When we called the day of arrival to notify them that we would be checking in late due to travel issues we were told we had no reservation for that night. Despite explaining the situation we were told that since we had no "proof" of the conversation that we would have to pay an additional $250 to stay. We did not. No accommodations were given for our lost night when we checked in the next day and spoke to a manager.
The location is great, right next to Heavenly. Check in was quick. The required valet is annoying as every time you want to drive you have to wait for your car. We ended up parking in the Heavenly lot during the day so we had quick access instead. The rooms are large but the layout is odd and not very family friendly. There is a large soaking tub/shower combination in the center of the room which is awkward for families and very difficult to get children in and out of.
It would have been helpful to have a shuttle to town in the evenings as there is no parking anywhere downtown. Heavenly has a shuttle but it stops at 6pm.
Overall, except for the check in day confusion nothing really wrong with it. I'm not sure I'd return simply because it was a bit more hassle than other ski locations.

+1
My husband and I traded our timeshare week through RCI for a week at Tahoe Seasons. As other reviewers have noted, the condo is due for renovations as the decor and layout are dated. Renovations are actually in process, but according to resort only 20 rooms are updated. We stayed in a 6 sleeper condo unit and it worked well to share with another couple who joined us. The proximity to Heavenly Ski Resort cannot be beat. It’s a short 2 min walk across the street. If you’re looking for convenience and access for skiing, this is most definitely the place to stay.
A few things to note for improving-
-I wish the hotel either had a bigger hot tub or multiple hot tubs. We enjoy going to soak after a long day of skiing and apparently so does everyone else LOL. The hot tub was almost always full and other guests would be waiting right inside the lobby area staring out the window to jump on the next hot tub vacancy opportunity.
-The unit has a SMALL kitchenette area with a tiny mini fridge and a microwave. So basically I would hardly consider this a kitchenette as this is simply what any hotel offers in room. Thankfully we traveled semi local (Bay Area) and brought multiple kitchen items with us. (Instant pot, air fryer, portable stove top). The tiny kitchenette would not be such an inconvenience with a weekend trip, but when staying for a full week it’s definitely quite the expense to eat every meal out.
Overall I would stay here again for the amazing access to skiing Heavenly!
Thanks for a fun and memorable stay in Tahoe!

We came to hike the FS trails and see a few local sites. This resort is next to the ski hill so it is convenient for winter skiing or summer biking. Need a car to access any activities in the area. Beaches are nearby. The resorts rooms were well laid out and allowed each family to be able to socialize together or retreat to their rooms and have privacy. No kitchen but "bar" area is more than adequate. Would behoove one to take glassware for using the microwave and to bring own dishes to eat off as they only provided a few days worth of paperware and coffee. Valet parking is super easy and the employees are super nice and helpful. The pool and food/bar area were closed during this week but they had made accommodations to get these services in another way. Overall this resort is a great place to stay and exceeded my expectations!

Close to Stateline main strip and casinos, but not walking distance, but we liked the quiet and did not mind the short drive. We went at the beginning of summer but this place is very close to Heavenly resort and i would stay here if skiing. The hotel lobby is recently updated, and it looks like work is ongoing but did not disrupt our stay at all. The room was very clean but could use some updating in decor and a new mattress (i couldn'tsleep the first night), and the coffee machine in our suite needed to be cleaned out - we filled it with water and calcified particles floated to the top. The tub in our room was a great size for soaking even with the jets disabled, and it was nice to have a table and multiple seating options in the suite.
Parking is valet only and the main valet was so friendly. The guys that came in for the weekend valet shifts did their jobs well but were not very communicative.
Overall we would book again.

Thank you for your review! We are rather tucked away in the mountains, but, so close to Heavenly for skiing and hiking! We are under full property renovation and we hope you will be able to stay in one our newly renovated suites on your next visit. So sorry your bed was not comfortable! I will be sure the mattress is replaced and the coffee maker is repaired too. Appreciate the positive comments about the valet staff! I will be sure to share it with them. Safe travels!

Stayed for a ski trip to Heavenly. Easy walk to Heavenly(~4 mins to Gunbarrel lift where the lockers are). You can take the Gondola which is closer, but there are no lockers there. Got an updated room, everything looked brand new. Staff was friendly & room service & valet were quick. I would stay there again. Only issues/caveats:
- Check that you can connect to wifi in your room before you unpack. I found out afterwards that if didn't reach my room(Tried on 2 phones & 2 laptops & had to spend 30 mins on phone w/Spectrum wifi provided to find out they couldn't fix it during my stay).
- If you booked through trip.com, call the hotel ahead of time to make sure the amount due at checkin matches the trip.com invoice. My trip.com invoice said $16 was due but the hotel insisted on collecting $40. (Trip.com refunded me the difference but they had to call the hotel and took time with support to get resolved
- When ordering off the Kids menu from Exquisite Grill, ask them if the prices are accurate. I was charged $10 for kids meal when menu said $7, and they said the printed menus were not correct( Note the website also matched the printed menu)
Other than that it was a great stay and nice place.

We were a bit disappointed in this resort. The required valet parking was usually slow and backed up though the guys were always working hard to keep up. The partial kitchen needs a toaster. They provide a few plastic plates and plastic forks/knives/spoons. The pool and the spa were tiny. On a positive note, the location is quiet and it is easy to get on the main road past the casinos to miss traffic. The food from room service was pretty good and prompt.

Thank you for your review. I'm so sorry for the wait times in valet. The staff does work very hard to be prompt and keep the wait times down. We are unable to expand our kitchen and appliance options due to local government regulations. We do have future plans to expand our pool and hot tub! We have a great location for quiet times in the summer and walk to the lifts winter access. Hope your next trip to Tahoe is a good one!

I would go back. Across from Heavenly Ski Resort. Beautiful views, especially from the roof. Off the busy hwy 50 traffic. 1-2 miles from state line. Nice swimming pool, shuffle board, Pickleball, and corn hole. They have paper plates, plastic knives forks and spoons.

Not a lot of excellent views. The best opportunity is to ask for a room towards the Ski Slopes.
I believe that would be acceptable, as there is a valet present, so you would just not request your car until you were ready.
