The location is great with beautiful views of the ocean. Perfect for a weekend getaway with friends and family. Nice fishing spots. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

We really enjoyed the "get away from it all" feel of the reserve. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the fynbos and scenery. The cottage we stayed in was well appointed and importantly it was well maintained and the cleanliness was of the highest level.

Best service, beautiful nature and cosy houses. We had a really good time in one of the fisherman houses. One highlight are the animals living free in this reserve. Recommended for relaxing from the busy life these days.

Perfect spot for families and friends to gather and enjoy nature - whether it is doing the Oystercatcher Trail or enjoying the beautiful coastline and fynbos nature environment. The facilities are first class and the accommodation is clean and comfortable. Meal times were an absolute treat thanks to the chef and his amazing team - even with our varying dietary requirements. We will definitely be back! Loved the little church on site. The events facilities look amazing.

Absolutely wonderful location! Gourikwa Reserve is a tranquil haven for nature lovers. The seaside scenery is breathtaking. An ideal spot for a quiet, rejuvenating getaway. The cottage was clean, neat and well-maintained. The staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

We took 40 people to Gourikwa for a relaxing get-together. From the initial enquiry through to the end of the event, the staff at Gourikwa could not have been more helpful. Questions were promptly answered, buffet meals were excellent in quality and quantity, accommodation pleasant and clean. Plenty to occupy our group while there. Highly highly recommended.

After staying in the Garden Route for almost 20 years, we could not believe that we have not visited Gouriekwa before!!! What an unbelievable stay! Beautiful fynbos, private secluded premises right next to the beach - can't get better than this!! Gouriekwa will definitely see us again soon!!
